Note this is really a tubeless tire

Comments On Nov 29, 2015:Very impressed with this tire so far on the front.
IRC TR-11 front tube-type running low with Tubliss lasted 1700 miles and 184 hours (95% dirt) but the sidewalls are just not strong enough.
IRC TR-11 rear is tubeless with strong sidewalls and is still running even though the knobs are down to about 2 mm.
Despite what the description here says, the mfr website and the tire sidewall both say TUBELESS. That means tough sidewalls and easy to mount with Tubliss.

Come onâ?¦everyone's doing it

Comments On Oct 27, 2015:running trials tires is really like cheating. they may not be the best choice in full on race conditions, but for 90% of the riding most of us do, they are magic.

This is the tire for rocky Colorado

Comments On Oct 12, 2015:I ride decomposed granite and over gnarly rocks above the tree line. This tire hooks up and it lasts. The only place it does not work at all is soft sugar sand. Found that out when I was in Moab. No big surprise there. Of course, this tire ruled on the slick rock 4X4 trails like Pritchett. I run it around 10 PSI. Lots of people go softer than that, but the handling loses it's sharpness. My heavy 450 has enough trail hugging weight to deform the tire at 10 PSI.
Never had a flat, and wondering if this tire is ever going to wear out. Amazing life on the back of a 450 ridden over sharp rocks and on the gas. On season 2 now.
I looked at the Kenda Equilibrium, but teh knobs on that tire are very soft. No doubt it would work great, but I think the rocks and 450cc would tear it up in no time. My perfect tire would be the Equilibrium with this tire's rubber compound. Maybe a Mountain Z. Who knows. Gotta wear this thing out first!

i like it

Comments On Aug 20, 2015:using it on 2014 KTM 350 EXC-F
don't run it on 10lbs of air or less in New England you will pinch the tube. 13lbs seems to work so far.

Second best trials tire in my opinion.

Comments On Aug 04, 2015:Love this trials tire. It was my tire of choice in most conditions in the Tahoe area for many years. Recently switched to the Motoz.

Great Price

Comments On May 27, 2015:Use this tire on slippery wet wooded trails, works great. Not so good on loose dirt down hills or clay type mud!

I Love these tires and use them exclusively

Comments On Mar 26, 2015:I use these tires front and rear on my 2012 KTM 350 EXC-F. I use it for about 50% rough trail riding, and 50% street riding. These tires work GREAT! They have a ton of traction off road, much better than a full knobby, unless I'm in really deep mud or sand. They hook up amazing on hard-pack, rocks, and normal dirt. They last about 2 1/2 times as long as knobby tires. They work great on the street; great cornering and braking. The street bikers that I ride with sometimes are amazed at how fast I can go with these tires. I can corner as fast as any sport bike on twisty canyon roads.
These tires have a ton of grip, but you have to ride them differently than knobby's. With these tires you don't want to spin them to raise the revs. I use the clutch for that, and try to keep these hooked up all the time when I ride. If you like to blast around and spin your rear tire - these are not for you. If you like to HAUL, and want to stay attached to the ground, these work great.
