Tough Tire

Comments On Mar 11, 2015:I use these tires on my atv and my Rhino for trail riding and hunting in the rugged and rocky Idaho mountains. They are the toughest most durable tire I have ever tried. They are a bit heavier than most but well worth it for the added stability and toughness (both face and sidewall). I've never had a flat yet and plowed through miles of brush, rocks, sticks and mud. I don't ride pavement much so tire wear has not been a problem.

Best tire yet.

Comments On Oct 25, 2014:2014 Polaris Sportsman 400 H.O. Haven't found anything these tire won't handle. Mud, sand, rocks. Excellent traction.

All around good tire

Comments On Sep 05, 2014:I purchased a 14 yamaha grizzly and the first thing I did was replace the stock tires. I never heard of ripsaw tires, but I liked the look. These tires handle and bite hard in most terrain. In Montana we have various conditions and terrains. These tires so far are great on Rocky Mountain trails, in mud, on loose dirt hills, and down gravel roads. Not sure how they are in snow and sand yet. They impressed me so much that when I purchased my can am commander 1000 I purchased a set for it as well. The maxxis bighorn tires had only traction one way, and had very poor handling qualities at high speeds down loose dirt trails. The ripsaw tires alleviated all of the bighorn tires shortcomings. Also 4 times easier to steer. Overall if you truly ride, Sedona Ripsaw tires are your answer.

Tread wear is bad.

Comments On Jun 30, 2014:I ran these on my wife's 2004 500 Sportsman. She doesn't use a lot of 4 wheel drive and both the front and back are worn down bad. Most of the riding was on hard dirt roads and rocky trails. I have twice the time on my Carliles on the same type of ATV and they still have plenty of tread on them...These tires are also prone to flats on rocky roads...Last set of these I ever buy.

not impressed.

Comments On Jun 02, 2012:bought a polaris 850xp with these tires. I got stuck the first time out crossing a sandy bottom river that I crossed 100 times with my stock tires on my old foreman with no problem. good trail tire but terrible in sand, digs way too much.

awsome tire

Comments On May 23, 2012:great traction, stiff sidewall for off camber moves does not roll under like the maxis's a heavy tire would only run them on big bore machines.

Heavy and Out of Balance!

Comments On May 07, 2012:Save your money and get a different tire! Ordered four tires. These tires are heavier than most! On top of that they all had bad vibration...well two required 24 oz of weight to be balanced and the other two required 12 oz of weight. Sedona has no contact information. Very disappointed!!

gnarly gnarly

Comments On Mar 17, 2012:Mudlites and a stock set of carlisles couldnt withstand the area that I ride in. Seems that when a tree falls it likes to hide its branch spikes. When clearing the trail you cant get them all. these tires are rockin so far. If you are having puncture problems I would strongly suggest the Ripsaws. Lots of large gnarly tred to stop those pesky branches.

Highly Recommended for your SXS

Comments On Feb 29, 2012:Really impressed with these tires.
They ran great in the snow and slush, cleaned out pretty good in the mud and can be power slid when you need and the hook up is great!
But where these tires really showed up was lateral traction, the mark of a great tire. Sorry Bighorns, these beat ya' hands down.
We were on some pretty nasty angled trails and I didn't have to keep steering towards the top over and over...they just didn't slide AT ALL!
They are a little heavier than most aftermarkets, but the trade-off is worth it.
Keep in mind that these are on a Teryx, so a quad could be different as far as ride quality, but if its a UTV your buying for, you can't go wrong.
I'd buy another set in a heartbeat!
