Clean look
Has a clean look and does help when viewing the oil site glass. Not a noticeable difference in braking control.
Does install in minutes.
Overall I like it.

Easy to install (after I watched the video). My only gripe is that the spring tension is similar to stock so to get a firmer feel, I put the stock pedal spring back on. (running both the Faast spring and stock together) I thought I could remove the original spring and still achieve my goal of more feedback. Nope.

No broken springs here...
Put this on as a preemptive measure after too many other other Husky/KTM guys were breaking their rear brake return springs. Works perfectly!

Makes the rear brake feel better
This unit makes the rear brake feel a lot better than stock. The big spring really helps for a more positive feel.

Better than OEM
The stock spring on late model KTM's is prone to disconnecting. The FAAST spring is completely out of the way, and totally bulletproof. I've added them to every KTM I've owned.

Take the brake off your oil changes
The best benefit beside the obvious improvement over the stock spring that breaks is how much easier it makes oil changes because you can get to the oil overflow bolt hole when you remove the stock spring.

I installed mine but I now realize that there is no more room to put a jam nut for the clevis so my brake pedal adjustment can move over time with vibration. In the video, at 2:20 you can see that you don't even put one... The cup is too thick in my opinion. Are we suppose to put 1 jam nut for the cup and 1 jam nut for the clevis?
Guillaume D on Apr 14, 2018
BEST ANSWER: For my install, only one jam nut was needed/used and it was for the clevis.
The pressure from the spring against the cup seems to prevent the cup from moving. I set it once and have never touched it since.
My bike is 2016 Husky FC250, notorious for breaking stock springs!
Twenty bucks for a spring and a nut? Surely these parts can be had at a hardware store for much much less. Any comments?
A shopper on Jun 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The pic varies by model, the one that came for my RM was all one machined piece with a retainer lip for the supplied spring. This a cool little piece and worked great for the rear brake update I was doing on my RM 125. How ever I doubt you could find the pieces at your local hardware store however you could possibly fabricate one for more than 20 bucks!
Anyone paired this with the Tusk brake clevis to know if the blues match? Being so close together I figured I would play it safe and not get blue but if anyone's already tried it I'd like to know.
Craig A on Apr 15, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I put the blue one on my 2017 kx450f works great.
Video shows a Fasst rear brake clevis on a ktm . When looking to find one for my Husky it doesn't show one for the husky or ktm in the options / machine profile. Lots of KTM and Husky owners might be interested ?
Jeff V on Jan 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately, we do not carry the Fasst rear Brake Clevis for a KTM or a Husky. I'll forward your suggest to our purchasing department for consideration.
