Vance & Hines Monster Round Catalytic Slip-On Motorcycle Exhaust (CARB)

Developed for the California market, Monster Round Catalytic slip-on mufflers are listed by the California Air Resources Board as an exempt aftermarket part under the Executive Order No. K-006-1. Under the grant of this EO, these slip-ons are permitted for sale and use with Vance & Hines Power Duals or Dresser Duals head pipes on all two-wheeled Harley-Davidson Touring models.

Monster Round Catalytic slip-ons house two three-way catalytic converters and have been tested with Vance & Hines Power Duals or Dresser Duals to demonstrate that they meet emissions standards applicable in California.

The real benefit of combining Vance & Hines Power Duals or Dresser Duals with the new Monster Round Catalytic slip-ons lies in the movement of the catalytic converter from the front half of the exhaust (as it is in the original equipment exhaust) to the back half of the exhaust, which yields a significant reduction in heat felt by the rider.

Monster Round Catalytic slip-ons make just as much power as standard Monster Round slip-ons, along with the same deep and mellow tone riders have come to love. And the finish is every bit as top-notch, sporting full coverage heat shields and machined billet end caps.

In California, aftermarket part applications that have been identified specifically as replacement parts or have received an Air Resources Board Executive Order may be used on street and off-road motorcycles. All other emissions related aftermarket parts are for closed course competition use only.
