Comments On Sep 30, 2015:purchased these to go on my scrambler 850. ordered them on a set of sti hd3 wheels. i went with 26x11x14 in the rear and 26x9x14 in the front. even with the same size tires the quad sits a little higher up and is a huge improvement from the terrible stock tires.

confused about sizing

Comments On Jul 02, 2015:The first thing is that my tires came in very fast. But when it came to selecting a tire, the more i read the more questions i had.I do not have any miles on these STI Black Diamond XTR tires ( 27x9x12 & 27x11x12) yet but they look good and i wanted to give everyone a idea on the sizing/weights.I had Bighorn 2.0 ( 26x9x12 & 26x11x12) with 500 miles on them and plugs in the sidewall. The tread depth on all 4 bighorns were 5/8".The tread depth on the STI are 1" not the 1 1/8" as stated. All 8 tires had 10 PSI in them for these measurements. The rear tires are the excat same diameter even with the tread depth difference. The front STI is 1/4" taller on total diameter. Also both of rear wheels weighed 39 lbs.The front STI was 36lbs and the 2.0 30lbs. The 2.0's with a steel wheels and the STI with a aftermarket aluminum. I guess this means these 27" STI's are actaually smaller than the 26" 2.0's not counting tread depth? Glad i went with 27's. Hope this helps someone.

Lacks control in hard turning.

Comments On May 20, 2015:Doesn't hold up around cactus, even with Ride-On or Slime. Good traction in all conditions, but the softness of the tire is the weakness when turning.

Best tires I have ever owned

Comments On Feb 27, 2015:I had these on. Kingquad on 26x12 and they run small measure 25.5 without a pouch. On my RZR 27x14's they measure true it size and are nearly as tall as mega mayhem 28's. Love these tires ride amazing and get you out of anything. True all around. Rock, snow, mud hardback tire.

Comments On Dec 29, 2014:Needed more aggressive and taller tires for our trip to moab...these did the trick. After we got back 3 of my utv friends bought the same tires from rocky Mountain atv... great at tires.

Very grippy

Comments On Dec 29, 2014:Took these bad boys out on hard dirt, mud, and sand. Extremly happy with how they performed. Clears mud out quickly, and grips like there is no tomorrow. Very happy with them.

Hefty and beefy tire! Good buy for the money.

Comments On Dec 17, 2014:Purchased these from, had them mounted on original aluminum rims on my Suzuki KQ500. What a difference nice radials does to your ride, does extremely well in snow when plowing. Rides better when air pressure is lowered to 2.5-3# on the KQ so the sidewall will "pudge" a little, a tip I got from Doug Meyer from ATVTV.COM's video. I have 1000 miles on mine, and the rubber lugs are only showing slight rounding of the edges, these will last for thousands of miles on gravel and rocks. The only thing I would "complain: about, is wobble on the tires at high speed, I cannot for the life of me get local tire installers to force balance these! I am sure that would cure most wobbling problems.
