The Fly Racing Toxin Helmet combines style and critical functions in one complete package. The Toxin is DOT/ECE 22.05 approved - a durable and lightweight polymer shell combined with a well ventilated dual-stage EPS. The Toxin is further enhanced with an integrated MIPS(Multi-directional Impact Protection System).
MIPS® Brain Protection System in a helmet integrated, low-friction layer designed to reduce rotational motion transferred to the brain from angled impact to the head.
Durable and lightweight polymer shell.
Dual density EPS liner.
Custom rubber trim with integrated nose guard.
Lightweight machined aluminum visor screws and stainless steel rivets and D-rings.
Removable and washable comfort liner and cheek pads absorb sweat while providing ventilation.
TFV(True Functional Ventilation). When in motion air is forced through multiple air intake vents, then passed through aligned vent channels in the EPS and exits out multiple rear exhaust vents.
Soft fleece helmet bag included.
Meets or exceeds ECE/DOT safety standards.
For proper fit and size, measure the circumference of your head 1" above your eyebrows and around the largest portion of the back of your head.
MIPS
MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) is a specialized helmet safety technology that is now being used in the top tier of off road helmets in order to greatly lessen the chances of traumatic brain injury.
By integrating an engineered low-friction layer into the liner of the helmet, MIPS enables a relative sliding motion between the head and the helmet so angular and rotational impact forces are absorbed and deflected.
Since most head impacts occur at oblique and unpredictable angles, helmets with MIPS Technology are able to offer better protection than helmets without.
