Holding up great!

Comments On Feb 06, 2015:I beat the heck out of these tires! Been through the Rubicon Trail too many times to count on them and they work great! They do well on the rocks, snow, and sand.

Geat tires!

Comments On Jan 18, 2015:I've been using Power Grips on both mine and my wife's machines for over three years now and love these tires. The handling, traction, and wear are great. We do a lot of riding in rocky and sandy conditions in southeastern Utah, and the tires perform admirably. The tread wear is holding up well, even after several thousand miles of rough terrain riding. I would buy them again in an instant.

Comments On Nov 01, 2014:Rode these tires all summer. Good on trails. Smooth ride. Suck in the mud, snow and slick rock. They would not grip and ATV would slide a lot. My 2009 grizzly didn't have any issues with the same terrain with different tires. Disappointed over all with these. I pulled them off this weekend and will be getting a direct one for next year.

Completely Different Machine

Comments On Sep 23, 2014:I replaced my leaky, squishy, no-traction stock tires with a set of Duro Power Grips in a size larger than stock. I can't say enough good things about these tires. They're smooth at higher-speed distance riding, grippy in the slick stuff, and look good to boot. Three of my four stock tires were leaking air within 2 months of buying my Rancher new, but 20 months in to the Duros and I have yet to have to air one up. My dad's so impressed with them that he will even be buying a set next month for the Honda Pioneer 700-4 that he's got on order. Buy a set, you won't be disappointed!

OK But leak air around the beads

Comments On Jul 01, 2014:Have had these tires on my RZR for a year or more now but have only put about 300 miles on them. Since day one I have been fighting air leaks on three of the 4 and after having them checked out by 4 different reputable shops it was finally discovered by a good tech that there was a slow leak around the bead on 3 of the tires once mounted. It is a small defect/bump/warped spot in the tire bead. Basically when the machine sits for a week the tires all go flat. I have had my Vision Outback wheels checked and its not the wheels as I have tested my stock tires and they dont leak. When they do hold air they do ok on the trail it just sucks having to constantly add air. I also had a sidewall cut on my last ride this past memorial day and am now at a cross road. Do I just replace the one tire with the cut and keep dealing with air leaks or do I bite the bullet and get rid of these things and the headaches all together?? Drives me nuts as they still have a ton of tread left. Pretty disappointed to say the least.

Better than stock

Comments On Jun 10, 2014:The tires are good but I should have spent a little more and got the big horns. Seems like they do a little better than the duros

Poor handling

Comments On Jun 02, 2014:The tires are wider than expected and protrude from rear fenders. So, I always end up with lots of mud and rocks on my back. Not a great high speed tire due to excessive vibration. After 500 miles on, one of the traction wedge torn off and effectively destroyed the tire.

not a good high speed tire

Comments On May 29, 2014:these tires have very good grip in mud and snow but reallyyyyyy suck if you ride faster than 15 mph,the best tire was 7 3/4 oz out of balanced.

Excellent tire for the money.

Comments On Apr 26, 2014:I bought a set of these for our farm four wheeler a while back, and was impressed with the quality. I haven't got to ride it that much to test the tires, but was impressed enough by my little time with them to pop on a new set for my wolvie when I cut a sidewall on the stock set and ruined one. I have had this 4 wheeler since 06, with the same factory tires, and know it inside and out. I am honestly impressed with these duro's. I have gotten to know what my bike will and wont do, and usually stay away from anything questionable. I have slowly gotten fed up with the lack of forward bite from the factory radial tires and when I cut a sidewall last week felt like it was time to take the plunge. It has been wet and slick since the day I put these on, and I have been excited to try them out. In all seriousness, the stuff I used to not even try, I have no problem getting though even with no run. Better on hills, more side bite sliding, more forward bite in any condition.
My biggest concern was the weight, as these tires weigh more than the tires and wheels combined from the factory. Honestly though I didn't notice a drastic reduction in performance though. I do have a ported head and a cam, and a little clutch work, but really nothing serious.
Other than that, I didn't notice a imbalance on these or the first set I bought for the farms 09 king quad. I did get paranoid on this set after all the reviews and air them up to 25 psi overnight before the first ride but really don't know that it mattered.
Lastly, these things don't need much air on a atv. I am down to 5 in the front and 4 in the back and am probably gonna drop to 4 and 3 soon. The factory tires I always ran at 7 and 6 so this is a big change. they are very stiff tires.

Additional Comments On Apr 26, 2014:an lastly again, they do measure short. I got these cuz based on prior reviews, and the fact I had a set mounted up and parked next to my bike with factor tires, I realized they were VERY comparable to the factor 23 inch tires. I got the 25-10-12's and 25-8-12's and they are probably an inch taller overall than the factory 23's. maybe less. however they swell exponetinally with air pressure.. when I aired them up to 25 psi they were huge. its possible they made their measurements with a significantly higher airpressure than would be rationally ran in a real world environment. thanks!
