Great iron.

Comments On Apr 10, 2015:Small, but they work!!! I doubted these until I used them. I mounted a 10" tire and wheel on a Honda XR50 and an 18" tire/wheel on a CR250 and these irons are TOUGH. They did not bend at all.

Decent for trail

Comments On Jan 14, 2015:I'm not skilled enough to use these in the shop to change tires as they're a little small but they fit nicely in a fanny pack for the trail and will do the job.

Good for the Trail

Comments On Dec 26, 2014:These are a good size and weight for trail use. I prefer using spoons in the shop, but these work fine in a pinch (no pun intended).

Good for portable pack use

Comments On Aug 13, 2014:I paired 3 of these together in the pack, and have used them both on the trail and in the shop. For dedicated shop use I would go with something that has a longer handle. For trail side they fit well in a hip pack, and paired in 3s work well. Decent weight for how burly they are. Not perfect for every situation, but great for use in a pack.

Tire Iron

Comments On Jan 28, 2014:Not a hugh fan. Very hard to get the tire removal process started and every time I have used these irons I have punctured a tube. It seems that once you get a fair amount of pressure on the iron it slips and puctures the tube or slips off of the rim. I have tried on 3 different tires, and 3 different approaches with the same results. I give this a 3 star rating because once you get the first 1/3 of the tire off of the rim then the irons work well for the rest. You would be better off using a large flathead screwdriver to get it started.
