Tired of the hassle and mess of air filter grease? PC Racing's Pro-Seal is the answer for a perfect filter to air box seal without the use of messy grease. This neoprene gasket adheres to the rim inside the motorcycle's air box. The neoprene material creates a larger sealing surface and has memory for a perfect seal time after time. Due to the adhesives that are not affected by gas and oils, the Pro-Seal will not separate from the air box once installed. The Pro-Seal is available for most offroad motorcycles.
Perfect air filter seal without the hassle or mess of grease.
Larger sealing surface than regular greased filter.
Not affected by gas and oils.
Works perfect with Flo Air Filters and Filter Skins.

My air filter seal against the air box was not tight enough for my taste on the Husky and I am not a fan of using the rim grease. I had used this product before on an old bike and gave it another try. Very pleased. Not only does the filter seal well but the air box cover I install for washing the bike is a tight fit also.
I change air filters almost every ride. Clean filter clean engine. I used to grease the base of the filter ever time. With the PC gasket there’s no need for it. I’ve used these on my last 3 bikes without any issues.
Gives a nice soft seal that I don’t have to use grease anymore and has held up to multiple washes with twin air air box cover when I wash the bike. Just make sure to clean the surface really well with contact cleaner.
Very poor fitment on my 2012 KTM 350XCF. Had to modify to make it worked. Had very good success with previous bikes, but not my latest one. Still does a very good job of sealing, but don’t like the idea of having to cut and trim to get a better fit.
the seal is a great idea,BUT it is close to 3/8 thick and leaves the airfilter matting surface to the airbox lip very thin. when installing its very hard to feel the bottom of the cr250s airbox for a tight seal. my uni airfilter was pushed off the very bottom lip during install and about 1/2 inch was exposed to the elements sucking sand during a 3 hours gncc race which at the 2 hour mark my throttle got stuck wide open from carb slide getting stuck inside. motor seems ok. flushed out. its a ticking time bomb now. only 20hours on lower end too :( Ive been riding for over 20 years and graduate from MMI. never had a airfilter come off on me utill i used this product. please stick to the basics and use rim grease or any type of grease to put on the rim of your clean airfilter during install.
Used it on my bike for LAB2V. If youve done this ride then youd know of the insane amount of dust throughout the whole 400 plus miles. I changed my air filter at the end of each day and the seal proved its worth.
Some dude asked me why I didn't use grease as he saw me remove my filter and I just pointed at the seal. Clean as a whistle and did not let ANY dust through.
A few tips when installing.. -Make sure to put a CLEAN rag in your airbox before installing.
-Clean the area where the seal goes with a contact cleaner. (brake cleaner works well)
-Pre-fit the seal on the airbox. I had to adjust mine just a little by cutting the seal and snipping a small sliver off to make sure there were no gaps. Take your time here.
-Work from one point when sticking it on, in one direction, until you get around to where you started.
A must have for all your toys. Forget the messy grease and buy this. Ive had sand in my air boot to my carb after every ride now sense i put this pc pro seal on my bike nothing has gotten through
Cleaned all grease off, did a stickiness check with the provided test piece, pealed off the backing and stuck it in place. It seals really nicely to the bike and the filter seal is perfect. Did 2 day race on sandy/dusty track last weekend, changed the filter between days and this seal is Excellent. No fuss, no greasy mess; I wish I'd found this gem years ago. Easy, Clean and fast filter change. I highly recommend and will run these on all my bikes going forward.
I highly reccoend this product to anyone riding an '03 to '07 Honda CR two stroke. The Pro Seal fills the gap between the air filter and the air box. The stock air filter cage does not fit tightly enough without one of these. It is a "must have."
Great product that gives me a little extra confidence in my TwinAir (KTM / Husaberg / Husqvarna) filter. I don't like the mess of using grease to seal around the filter so I'd rather use this. The airbox and filter on these bikes is not the most reliable fit. You have to check that it's seated properly every time and this foam rubber rim helps. You still have to take care with installing the filter though, it doesn't actually fix the airbox design, but it creates a nice tight fit and something to feel for.
I put one of these on every bike I get. I'm old school and use to grease the lip of the filter. With this seal, I can go without grease now. Never had any sand slip past.
Awesome product! An absolute must have. Make sure you clean the surface area perfect before applying the seal or it wont stick. I just used some carb cleaner. Highly recommend this product. Saves time and is less messy than grease.
I hate cleaning, oiling and changing air filters. I bought this for my KTM and have been very happy. I eliminates greasing the filter seal. It seals up well and I have not seen any signs of leaks around the seal. It makes positioning the filter and hooking the retainer clip a little more difficult but worth it.
When shopping this was the best value for the money I could find. You will not be disappointed if you buy and use. I ride hard and tear up stuff, so get stuff well-built and you will be happy.
I've used the Pro-Seal on three different bikes now and love it! Works like a charm and haven't had any signs of anything getting past this seal. Make sure the surface is cleaned well with contact cleaner and completely dry before applying.
Great product! Have been running these for 15+ years! Great spongy seal for your filter and your filter plug for washing out your air box. One of these goes into every bike I own or will own in the future.
Great product! Makes it a little more difficult at first to install air filter due to the thickness, but so much cleaner and easier than smearing grease on your air filter. I highly recommend!

I race in michigan sand and i used to use grease and even with that i would get little bits of sand in my air boot. Ive had this on my bike for 6 rides now and not a spec of sand in my airboot. Ive put these on all of my bikes and swear by it

I like the PC racing seal as it takes out the ugly and uneven mess of applying oil to the rim of your air filter. I suppose some guys will only ever swear by applying oil, but I have had this on two bikes for some time and have experienced no side effects?
The first one I ordered the adhesive was old presumably from being on the shelf a while for my older bike. I did the solvent cleaning and adhesion test but the problem was with the glue sticking to the backing instead of the gasket, They replaced it and I had no problems with the 2nd nor with the others I have installed on other bikes. I am so glad to not to have to use grease anymore, The confidence inspiring part is that when I do filter cleanings, the foam (with No-toil filter oil) actually sticks to the Pro-seal.
I actually feared the filter foam was going to tear free from itself, but it released consistently without any damage to the foam. I don't want to service a bike that doesn't have this ever again!

This product does exactly what it says it'll do! I used to put just a small out of grease around the rim of air-filter to help prevent dust from getting into carb. But this has replaced that. Now I no longer have to take that extra step. Great Product!

I ordered this because I worried about the seal on my K&N air filter, now I sleep better at night. Expected it to be thicker, I installed it and the filter sealed as I had wanted. I'm using it in conjunction with the PC Racing filter skins, very happy with the results.

Dirt passed by this product and entered my engine!
I installed this on my bike because I was tired of greasing the rim of my air filter, and the mess and cleaning that came with that. This product sounded great. No more grease. One day I went to change my air filter, and found that the filter had gotten pinched on the rim during installation. You could see a trail of dirt entering the airbox past the filter. Ouch! I'm not sure what/if there was any engine damage, but it doesn't bode well.
To be fair, I still use it, and haven't had this problem repeat. I'm not sure if the pinch was my fault (poor filter installation?) or the result of using this product? You will have to decide for yourself if it is worth the risk.

This seal eliminates the need to use grease to seal your air filter to the air box. Makes air filter changes much easier and less messy. I use it in all my bikes. I have had no issues with dirt or sand getting past the seal and into the air box. Make sure to remove all old oil and grease with contact cleaner prior to installing in your air box.
Why would anyone mess with filter grease when these are available? Works perfectly. If it dosent stick you didn't clean the mating surface properly. They even give you a little extra piece of the material to test the adhesion. Cant go wrong with this. .
<br>Great product. Works & fits perfectly. Gives me a trusted seal & peace of mind. No grease on the filter rocks & makes cleaning easier. Have 80hrs on it & more filter cleanings than I can count. Still looks new.

I now have 3 of these. 07 KX450F, 08 YZ450F and 07 YZ125. Installation is super easy - make sure to clean plastic surface well with contact cleaner. Have not had a single issue with leakage of dust in 4 years.
the best invention ever...why would you ever use grease again, unless you ride sand dunes, but for normal use, this thing is great.have them on all my bikes. just be sure the surface is clean before you mount it

first one of these. Installed and adhered very well after some thorough clean up with petrol/rags then alcohol swabs. I hope it's all it's cracke up to be - I won't miss greasing filter bases.

4 bikes and all have PC seal .I never have to worry if I have a good seal. This would be one of those things that I wish I knew about years ago. Note; You MUST clean airbox surface very, very well before installing gasket.Time and money saving product.

Good product does what they say it will do. Nothing much better then not having to deal with greasing the edge. I have had nothing get past this seal when using it. I will buy again when I get a different bike.

Do I need to remove the rubber lip on my airbox before installing this?

BEST ANSWER:I didn’t have to do that on my 2012 300 XcW. That lip is the air boot and what actually holds the boot in the airbox. The Pro-Seal has glue on one side that attaches to the lip of the air boot. Clean the lip and stick it on. The Pro-Seal raises the contact surface making the filter fit tighter.

On my 14 XC-W no, as the Pro seal is slightly larger than the rubber lip so this goes on the rubber lip and seal the air filter way better than before.
