  • Every aspect of the Michelin XC-series tire has been designed to maximize traction.
  • New rubber mixture improves durability by 10-15% and grip by 25% over their predecessors.
  • Aggressive, terrain-specific knob pattern bites down hard while resisting chunking.
  • The XC casing is designed to absorb impacts with less rebound, so the tire spends more time on the ground for outstanding acceleration, braking and steering.

The best Hare scramble tire period

Comments On May 21, 2015:This is the best tire you can buy for hare scrambles. It has held up great and it is the dominant tire on the track. Works well and lasts great. Would recommend to anyone. I put this on every bike I own.

So far, so good!

Comments On Feb 08, 2015:Tires are hard to review for many reasons. Each bike is different. Weight and suspension change everything. Every rider is different. What can I say? The tire builds confidence in the corners. Cornering traction is amazing. This is the first tire to make it more than 3 rides without starting to blow off complete side knobs. I'm done with Pirelli fronts forever. If this tire doesn't do well, I'll try the starcross mh3. If that doesn't work, back to bridgestones!

Was Great Until I tried Starcross...

Comments On Dec 04, 2014:This is a great tire, held up well, traction was okay, but the Starcross MH3 made me think this is a 3 star tire. MH3/s wear awesome, and grab everywhere in my experience.

Good wear and predictable

Comments On Feb 04, 2014:I ran these tires in DS, enduro and Hatfield McCoy. Mostly in southern Ohio and even a little MX. I really have no complaints as they hooked up for me and even worked well in deep mud. They where perfect on mx course. 14lbs in front and 12-13 rear I had no flats and really good wear. I rate a 4 as I'm always looking for more.

M12 not as good as S12

Comments On Dec 24, 2013:The M12 does not work as well as the S12 for East Tn dirt. The S12 hooks up much better. The M 12 performed ok for about 2 rides. It was poor thereafter!

Excellent grip

Comments On Dec 04, 2013:Using this tire for cross country and it has performed very well. Not too soft but not to hard. Grips pretty well everthing out there. Run it on all my bikes

My favorite front tire

Comments On Aug 23, 2013:This is my benchmark to compare all other front tires to. I keep going back to this tire after trying others. Its got amazing traction when new, but the side knobs will wear and it will start to slip... nothing lasts forever! I don't like the rear tire at all. It has mediocre traction when now and gets bad when it wears.
