long wearing, great traction!

Comments On Mar 01, 2015:Keep this tire on a separate wheel for trail riding has been used on three different bikes two 450's and my 500 and even used in two hare scrambles and shows very little wear. Great for rocky hard pack single track!

Great tire that lasts a long time

Comments On Feb 12, 2015:This tire is great for all conditions (except for mud) and will go the distance on a 1500 mile ridding trip. It is tall so make sure you have clearance with your shock mud flap.

Comments On Feb 09, 2015:Bought this as my first seat cover install. The install went great for my first time. The cover is fairly stretchy so it fit easily and it looks great. The ribs do a great job holding you on the bike. I would buy another one in a heartbeat

Tire just flat out hooks up and wears well

Comments On Feb 01, 2015:Traction is still good even when tread is mostly gone.

Hooks Up

Comments On Dec 31, 2014:I was a trials tire skeptic but this tire will out perform any knobby on any terrain, except maybe mud. I use this with a tubliss system so I can run the pressure nice and low.

Dont buy into the hype

Comments On Dec 21, 2014:I bought this tire about 6 months ago. i searched all the forums for the best tire for everything. i had used knobbys before but didnt like the wear life of them. the pirelli mt43 lasts forever and it is a great tire for rocky hill climbs. i also have a tubliss with it. this combination is supposed to be the best. after all my research about the tire the only downside mentioned was downhill braking. any braking at all means a locked up tire. you can just tap the back brake and you will be sliding. it has no stopping ability at all. with the tubliss i run it at 8 psi and still has no braking ability. the positives are it climbs dirt like no other tire. it surprisingly good in the sand. if your looking for a tire that can do it all with the tubliss system the 739at desert is the way to go.

Traction galore

Comments On Dec 23, 2014:Super grippy. Takes a little getting used to on the braking side of things. Techy climbs made easy. Great, and I mean great wear characteristics. Only recommendation is to run Bridgestone UHD tubes for pinch protection. Run em between 10-12 psi and they're unstppoable. Not sold on TuBliss quite yet IF I was to run lower pressures. The Michelin x-11 is an outstanding tire, but IMO a little pricey. Although the x light is supposed to have stiffer carcass and 1 lb lighter, it's pricey as well. Love the Pirelli and will buy again when this one eventually wears out.

Stick like glue

Comments On Oct 30, 2014:This tire works great for hare scrambles up here in the northeast...well, unless it's muddy. They stick like glue and suck up the rocks like a sponge.

Awesome tire

Comments On Sep 29, 2014:Love the tire. No bad manners, little harder compound than some tires so it is a good compromise. Great traction on roots, rocks, dirt and sand. Takes off a little slower in sand but once moving it floats on top nice. Improves suspension feel in rear. Switched from a Dunlop mx52. Would buy again.
