Good Tire

Comments On Mar 24, 2016:This tire was very aggressive for a dual sport tire, its basically a dirt bike tire with a DOT rating, however it did handle very nicely on pavement, very well balanced!!!

Wears out quickly

Comments On Aug 21, 2014:I run a wide range of terrain from sand to rocky. This tire is quickly wearing out after only about 180 miles since new. I can't say that it hooks up supremely, either.
The front matching tire is a full 3/8 narrower than the same size Pirelli mid-hard. It's twitchy like a pizza cutter wheel. I won't buy these ever again.
I'm not a spin the tires kind of rider, either. I like to hook up and ride smooth. Sand...well, that can't be helped.

Rear works great, front not so much.

Comments On Aug 14, 2014:I bought these tires as they are DOT certified and wanted to get my bike plated to connect trails. I have about ten hours of riding on these tires and they are holding up fine. Rear tire seems to have great traction and slides predictably. Not as impressed with the front, as it works ok for tight single track, yet on hard pack trails or gravel roads it has very little grip. I would purchase the rear again yet would not recommend the front tire.
In conclusion for a DOT approved tire used for off road, the rear would get 5 stars and the front would receive only about 2 stars.

Front 80/100-21 is noticeably skinny

Comments On Aug 12, 2014:Like many folks, I wanted a DOT tire for my Dual Sport bike. I bought a front AC-10 (80/100-21). After I mounted it, I was surprised how skinny it was compared to every other front tire I have had. Its narrow profile makes it tuck badly in soft sand and mud. Wears like Iron, Grips like Steel.

rear tire

Comments On Jul 29, 2014:This tire is my absolute favourite, for a bike this heavy and powerful, it wears extremely well, in all types of terrain. Its worth every penny since it doesn't wear out quickly or lose lugs like the cheaper brands.

Above avrage all around

Comments On May 01, 2014:Love this rear tire, hooks up good on all but the slime. My areas of riding are loose rock and hard granite, swamp, rooted peat hills, clay, silt, sand and snow. Very pleased with the slow ware rate and it's ability to hook up on almost every surface

Comments On Dec 28, 2013:Have gone back and forth from 606 to these. I'm on my third set. Front does not grip as well as I would like but rear is nice and predictable. Best DOT tires I"ve used. I've chunked others, never these.

Great tire for the country trails

Comments On Dec 04, 2013:These tire is awsome for hooking up on wet or dry, roots and rocks. As it is a softer tire it does wear faster, and more so on my KTM 250 XCW. Been racing cross country with this tire (back only) for 3 years and the tire has always performed very well.

I can't believe these are street legal.

Comments On Oct 20, 2013:These tires are unreal. I needed a tire which would pass state inspection, but I still wanted to have aggressive off road traction because I like climbing coal hills. These are street legal, but only to get you through inspection and keep the cops from handing you the yellow paper. They are not for street riding. They work great on high horsepower hill climbing machines lol.
