The MICHELIN Commander II creates a new standard with regard to durability, yet without making any compromises in terms of wet weather grip, maneuverability or stability. This performance balance provides yet another eloquent illustration of Michelin's research and development philosophy: no performance gain to be achieved on one front to the detriment of another.
  • Rubber compounds provide remarkable wet grip, without compromising durability.
  • Adt (Amplified Density Technology) provides a highly dense more rigid tire casing which helps deliver excellent feedback and handling in all conditions.
  • The square bead-wire package improves casing rigidity, handling and ease of installation.
  • Silica Rain Technology (SRT) which integrates silica into the compound of the tire tread, while the MICHELIN Commander II's tread pattern has been designed to prevent all forms of uneven wear.
  • The exclusive architecture of the MICHELIN Commander II brings both maneuverability and stability. The tire's more rigid, high-density carcass improves maneuverability, while the aramid fiber crown ply of the rear tire enhances resistance and lightness for impeccable stability, even at high speeds.
  • The numerous longitudinal grooves of the tire's tread pattern optimize water dispersal for outstanding wet weather grip.

My favorite tires

Comments On Oct 09, 2015:I have tried 3 different brands of tires and these are hands down the best! Great tread life, great wet weather traction and quiet rolling down the road! Skip the other brands and buy the Michelins! Rocky Mountain ATV ALWAYS has the best prices on tires!

No better tire or place to buy

Comments On Aug 19, 2015:This is my 2nd Commander II tire. First was just shy of 14000 miles which is almost double any other tire I have used. Excellent dry and wet grip. RMATVMC has the best price you can find and the free shipping is just an added bonus. When I had an issues in the past with another brand of tire the customer service was top notch and got me back on the road is short order.

2010 Kawasaki Vulcan Voyager

Comments On Jul 20, 2015:Put these tires on front and back. Front was worn out at 17,000 miles and replaced with another. The rear is still going at 18,000 miles will be replaced soon. Rain performance was good and the handling gave me greater confidence in the curves.

Totally bad ass

Comments On May 18, 2015:I just purchased a front and rear tire. I put them thru the gammit today. In the span of 10 hrs I encountered 85 deg sun, torential downpour, new and old asphalt, concrete nice long straight aways and some really awesome twisties. These tires performed flawlessly. Excellent adhesion in all conditions. I felt very confident after just a few minutes. I highly reccomend these tires.

What Bike are you riding?

Comments On Apr 18, 2015:People write reviews good or bad about this tire. But fail to say what bike its installed on. Review is pretty useless unless you say what bike its on and tire size for future buyers. The 200 series works great on my Harley.

Comments On Nov 01, 2014:I bought this tire for the mileage. Well i did get a few more miles out of it ( maybe 2000 miles). The problem I have had was there was very little dry traction, and as far as driving in the rain there was none at all. I have never had a tire break loose on me so much. I have over 125,000 miles on this bike and will not put another one of these on this or any other bike I own.
