A lot better than putting it in gear, & trying to stand on the rear brake & busting the countershaft nut loose at the same time.

Best way to properly torque countershaft assemblies
Having used this on multiple bikes of varying sizes and brands, I can say that this is the best way to properly torque countershaft assemblies. Best MX specific tool in my box

Why didn't I know this existed!?!
Makes front sprocket changes sooo easy. No more standing on the rear brake, etc. Remove chain, slap this on, remove sprocket. Easy as pie. Installing is just the same only in reverse.

Get the right tools or suffer the consequences
I had to buy this tool to get the counter shaft sprocket off of a 2016 kx250f. I've tried in vein to get the sprocket it off with out buying another tool, but could not. Alas though when I used the new tool it worked like a dream. I find it to be a great little device that does its job well. word of advice though, leave the chain slider on your bike when useing this tool or your swing arm will get scratched.

Must for non circlip primary drive sprockets
If you own a Yamaha this is a must to get the nut off the primary gear. Take the torque off the shaft without having to put the bike in gear and step on the rear brake. A little pricey but long run is worth it.

Easy as pie; look like a pro...
Nifty gadget if you need to switch out front sprockets without having a chain on and/or compromising your gears with a compact drill. I didnt use a compact this time, just my extended arm racthet and it was easy as pie. It binds itself onto the sprocket using the set screws for either 13/14/15 sizes. The other end locks itself onto the swingarm. I should've made a youtube video demo on it cuz this thing made me look like a pro! Very much worth the price.

Work on a triumph tiger 1050?
A shopper on May 9, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I always thought this was made for dirt bikes with a 13,14, or tooth sprocket but i imagine its possible if your swing arm isn't to large for the U shaped end to adhere to.
Will this item work on my 2018 450sxf since the Belleville washer covers over 50% of the holes used to the sprocket tool in place?
RAYMOND K on Sep 10, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This tool doesn’t go into the holes of your sprocket it fits into the pitch of the sprocket teeth. I hope this helps you understand how the tool works. It’s a great addition to your toolbox.
