Details
As a relatively new company, well known in the snow/sled world but new to the moto scene, Motorfist’s Ranger Jacket is an entry-level offering that leans on its quality, durability, and solid set of features to lift it above similarly priced jackets.
Made primarily for adventure and dual-sport riding during the 3-season, cold-weather times of the year, the Ranger gets its versatility primarily from the heavy-denier fabrics used in the outer shell, the zippered venting on both the shoulders and back, and the moderately-roomy, waist-length fit of the jacket that easily works with a system of layers underneath.
The outer-shell fabrics mentioned above also set the jacket apart since their 600 and 900 denier weights are heavier than most other jackets in this price range. The Ranger also gets a dose of refinement from the surprising amount of well-placed motion panels that retain your full range of motion, 10 pockets both interior and exterior, and a fleece lined collar that speaks to the details of the jacket.
