Leatt’s new GPS 4.5 X-Flow Jacket is a lightweight, mesh jacket that’s made for off-road and enduro riders that still ride during changing weather and hot conditions. Made to provide a good amount of protection with as much ventilation as possible, the X-Flow is built around large mesh panels that cover the majority of the chest and back. Highly flexible, non-mesh materials make up the rest of the jacket and the high-wear areas, like the elbows, receive a brush guard treatment that increases abrasion resistance by applying a flexible, protective film.

The jacket has an athletic fit that works well for spirited riding, which is ideal because there’s still room for wearing a roost deflector or set of body armor underneath. The collar is also neck brace compatible if you want more protection. With a highly specialized design that streamlines integration, you can not only wear a neck brace, but you get multiple ways you can wear the brace in relation to the jacket. The pre-curved sleeves are removable with a zippered connection, and if you remove when it’s hot out, you can store them in the rabbit pouch that’s behind on the small of the back.

Leave the sleeves on, and you’ll have several points of fit adjustment as well as an additional zippered pocket on the right forearm. And as one of the last major features, Leatt even gives you a place to store a 3 liter (max) hydration bladder along with hose routing, letting you eliminate another piece of gear.
