First Knee Brace

Comments On Aug 22, 2015:So after a lot of research and much thought about what i would want i decided on these. They are great if you have something to wear under it to prevent rubbing. They are really comfortable and i only have to adjust them once or twice then entire day at the track. I never take them off because they dont breath too bad either. Overall i might like these but i dont know how much they would protect you knees in like some others would. But if you're looking for a knee brace that you can grip the bike with, give you some protection, and are comfortable, then these are it. It also comes with some extra parts of different sizes to fine tune it to your liking.

Slides down

Comments On Jun 06, 2015:My son has relatively smaller legs and the knee braces continue to slide down regardless of how tight he tightens the straps even with boots on. Even so the movement is restrictive especially with motocross pants. Bad fit ment even with the extensive options. Needs specific sizes L/M/S is to broad.

Super comfortable and well made

Comments On Apr 23, 2015:Had these for about a year and approximately 50 days of riding. They still seem as new. They have a great, snug fit and I never feel like they slip or move around. The beefiness makes me feel well-protected. Bonus points for my friends always asking me about them because they look so cool.

A must have

Comments On Mar 08, 2015:I have over 50 hours wearing mine, and I would not ride without them. Once you find a knee brace sock that works for you, and get them adjusted properly, you will forget you have them on. A must have in my opinion. They have saved me more than once.

Comments On Jan 26, 2015:They're very lightweight and initially seem very comfortable but they chaffed the back of my knees even though I was wearing knee brace socks.
They're plastic and not very stiff which doesn't make me very confident on how they'll protect my knees in case of a bad crash.
Out of the four straps on each leg, two are easy clip on and the other two aren't. Why? They'd be very fast to get in and out of if all of them were clip on.
Left and right aren't labelled so the first few times I had to put them on and feel them in order to find out.
The foam and liner are velcro and therefore very easy to clean. You can just throw it in the washer and that's it.
They're very adjustable and have a ton of options to set them up to fit you perfectly, however you won't really know if they're set up correctly until you're riding. I spent a lot of time and energy making adjustments and testing them until I finally had them set to fit me fine.

Very comfortable, happy with them so far.

Comments On Oct 14, 2014:I have several hours of riding with these and i forget they are on. I like the ability to change the hyper extension lockout, and the quick release buckles. I mostly use the TUG high rise socks and they work great together.

Best bang for the buck

Comments On Jul 22, 2014:I have tried Thor knee guards and EVS knee braces ($100 less than these) and neither had close the the quality of the Alpinestars knee braces. Very adjustable, very comfortable, and great protection. I've been riding with them for almost 6 months now and they've help up great!

You get used to them

Comments On Mar 10, 2014:Buy a pair of brace socks to put underneath. They seem to be easy to fit and adjust. Not much more bulky than just a knee pad and they seem to offer the protection you are after.

Excellent knee braces

Comments On Dec 03, 2013:*This is the first and only set of knee braces I have owned* With that said, I am pleased with how great these are. Took me 15 minutes or so to adjust everything so they are properly adjusted to each leg, first ride out for the first couple minutes I noticed them, then the feeling disappeared. 4-5 rides later and I don't feel them at all! I have the 15* stop in the knee joint and am very happy with these. I have recommended these to everyone that asks.
