    mounting system is awful
I bought these bags a few months back for my Suzuki DR650. They did not mount easily nor securely.

if there is anything in the bags I can feel them bouncing on the bike over larger bumps. I can easilly flop them around with my hands despite my best efforts to get them as secure as possible.

I found some pannier racks second hand and thought I would give them a shot but there is no system for mounting these bags to pannier racks.

Just very little thought has been put into the mounting system for these bags. As far as the actual bag goes they perform fine so far. no tears and havent lety any water in.

Fine bags for the money, but not on my bike
These seemed to be the best bang for the buck, especially since they didn't require a side rack system. Unfortunately they won't work on my bike. I could do some strap and buckle modifications to get them semi-secure, but one bumpy dirt road and they'd be off-center, on the exhaust pipe, the tire tread, or competing with me for my seat. Quality is fine, but I wouldn't recommend this for a Honda CRF250L.

Look good, waterproof and some assembly required
This is a set of high quality dry bags with enough flexibility to strap to most any motorcycle. They have a stiff liner that one should manually fasten inside before riding. It's simple and comes with all the parts so don't let that scare you off. Simply plan on a few minutes to fasten the stiff plastic insert before your first ride. They hold a reasonable amount of gear for a weekend trip (or more if your are a minimalist.) The only draw back I could see was the lack of protection for the exhaust, which with careless mounting could be close enough to melt a hole. Just be careful when you strap them on and make sure hot parts are a reasonable distance away.
