Rekluse Radius CX on 2018 KTM 350xcf
Install was straight forward. Just follow Rekluse manual & KTM manual. I just rode 40 miles on tight single track in S. Fl. Sand, whoops, dirt & logs/roots. it was like cheating. No hand fatigue from excess clutching, No slipping, no stalls, just hooked up. So far I am super impressed with it. I will be testing hard in a Hare scramble next week. Pricey, but once I rode it, I forgot about the price.

Rekluse clutch cx
The reason for the 4 star is they are just getting to expensive. I have installed both the 3.0 and the new cx.i did not feel any difference between them. My bike is still new 2019 husky te300i and i am hoping for a little change after a proper brake in. Rekluse is always A good quality product and they last a long time. You need to make sure they are adjusted properly for them to preform well. If you have any problems or questiond rekluse is always a big help in getting you sorted out. The 2 nd reason for the 4 star is i was extremely pleased to see the color change in the outside cover. I just wish it were a true black as indicated in all the sites i checked.
I also installed a rekluse L H R B a must have when you install your clutch. They are not out yet so you will need to call rekluse direct. Talk to jon.

TGFR ( Thank God For Rekluse)
The absolute best mod I've done to my 2014 KTM EXC 500!
I Installed this clutch about 15 months ago and have without a doubt, greatly improved my riding experience. I don't now how many times I've thought to myself, Thank God For Rekluse due to the ability to keep moving after hitting trees and rocks and other situations that would have caused me to stall my bike if I ran a stock clutch. I even hit a tree which caused me to crash and break my shoulder blade and the bike never stalled!
I've been riding for over 46 years I have run ECEA Enduros (B Class), Raced Hare Scrambles (District 6 Open Amateur Champion) and have been riding Dual Sport events for almost 20 years. So I believe I have a bit of experience on dirt bikes ad know how to use the clutch. I wish I had this clutch back in my racing days. It flat out works for me.
This clutch was easy to install and set up and I have seen zero issues with excessive clutch wear in over 1000 miles of running with it installed. Highly recommend it.

Great product
This clutch is great. The install was easy once I figured out how to keep the clutch basket from spinning to get the nut off. I am a GNCC rider and this makes my kx450 so much easier to ride in technical terrain. People complain that it doesn't feel like a stock clutch but my lever pull was unchanged.

I cant speak to the durability as I only have 3 rides on it but all of the parts are extremely premium so I don't anticipate any issues.

Is it Hype When It Is Real?
I had been holding off on the Rekluse CX to prove to myself that I didn't have a need some overpriced clutch that was hyped on social media. Well that was waste of effort and riding time for sure. We picked up a Kawasaki 140G for my daughter that had a EXP installed, and had a ball using it like a trials bike around the farm, just plain fun. So I ordered the CX and installed it with my 14 year old in an hour and a half, after watching the video like 10x and using the instruction book. Do both as each has a little information that other does not. Hardest part was cinching down the main nut to 50lbs without a clutch tool, had to have the neighbor help hold the wheel.

So here are my observations about the CX in my WR250F; does Yamaha make bombproof clutch - Yes. Is the stock clutch a bear on long technical rides- Yes, arm pump for an old man. Testament to Yamaha build when we pulled out the stock unit there was no visible wear from +2000 miles of single track use. It took a bit of time to get used to the CX but I am more than happy with the Rekluse CX. I am taking single track that I used to avoid, and the clutch really engages for down low grunt much more so than previous stock unit, was not expecting that. I can feather the clutch levet as needed, can't do that with the EXP in Kawasaki, and compression braking is still there. On down hills just go to a lower gear and don't touch the lever, if you loose the compression braking just give it a quick blip of the throttle. For sure this was expensive but for my type of riding and skill level I will never not have one on my bike. It really is the best thing besides gasoline and oil to have fun with your bike.

Expensive, but worth it.
This clutch is a little spendy, but awesome! I just came back from a trip to the Black hills. Nursing the bike over big rocks or riding tight woods, the bike never stalls. It allows you to focus more on your riding and less on what your doing with the clutch.

I will never again have a dirtbike without a rekluse clutch. Got to assist when trail riding to prevent stalls. Now I don't use my clutch lever ever. Option is still there if needed.

Does this clutch make the lever pull stiffer?

BEST ANSWER: I put this clutch on my KTM 350. My bike has a hydraulic clutch, so I felt zero difference between stock clutch and this one. Could not tell you if having a cable operated clutch would or would not have a different pull
How does the auto-clutch affect engine braking? I use the engine to brake often on steep and technical descents, and want to know if I would still be able to do that with a Rekluse installed.

BEST ANSWER: The engine braking feels like something half way between a four stroke and a 2 stroke. But it is basically nonexistent at very low speeds. If your riding style depends on engine braking you will have to get use to using your rear brake a little more. The nice thing is if you lock up the rear accidentally it doesn't stall.
In tight single track it makes it easier to ride smooth instead of fighting the engine braking, but then again I am used to riding a 250 2 stroke.

I am riding a KTM 350 with the Radius and it provides a great balance of smooth in the tight stuff and quick on the track.
If you stop on a steep hill and need to get off the bike, engine off, say to clear a tree in the trail) how do you keep the bike from rolling downhill?

BEST ANSWER: With a Recluse clutch the bike will still roll in gear. You won't be able to use the transmission as a parking brake. But on the bright side you will be able to jump right over logs without gagging the bike...
Does this come with a clutch cover gasket or do you need to buy one separately?

BEST ANSWER: It's a o-ring on the KTM 250xc. You need to buy one. But I used the old one on my bike. At 1st the o-ring was too large, so I had the grill going and I held it in the heat and it fit perfectly. Don't heat it to long.

BEST ANSWER: Here is the answer directly from the Rekluse FAQ page:
All three Rekluse Auto-Clutches can be configured to bump-start the engine in the event your normal starting system fails. However, they cannot be configured for bump-starting on the go like a standard clutch. One must stop the motorcycle and make an adjustment to bump start and then make another adjustment to continue riding once the engine fires. Bump-starting can be done to get you home.
