Returned for 4.1

Comments On Jan 30, 2015:FMF is quality stuff, no doubt. I returned the Q4 and went with the 4.1. The Q4 is more of a desert type silencer.. Its long and sticks out of the plastics on new bikes.

nice improvement

Comments On Aug 22, 2014:A huge improvement over a stock WR exhaust. removeable spark arrestor is nice. The only downside is that the FMF decal on the back is a poor design. Both mine and my buddy's have already came off in about 6 months time.

14 yz 250f

Comments On Jul 23, 2014:This pipe is nice and quiet. It seems to choke the bike up a bit. I haven't fine tuned the EFI yet. The fit and finish is very good, but it's about six inches longer than the stock pipe and will probably get damaged in a crash on the right side.

Perfect throaty sound!

Comments On Jun 29, 2014:I waited a while to find the perfect exhaust. Reviews can only give you so much help. What helped me the most was actually hearing different exhausts on my bike. Not taking anything away from the Powercore 4, it was simply a little too loud for my taste. Too raspy at the top end. The Q4 has a tuned throaty sound throughout the rpm range. Plus, it's legal to ride everywhere. Simply another great product from FMF!

Read Before Buying!

Comments On May 07, 2014:It's a sick exhaust! The sound is just barely deeper than stock but it's noticeable. More noticeable though, is the increase in torque. It definitely breathes better and responds much quicker. It's a big difference. A nice low end upgrade at a decent price. Be aware though, the FMF mounts are placed differently than the stock muffler and do not use the factory hardware. It comes with the bolt you need and everything lines up, it just didn't use the rubber grommets and spacers...they didn't fit. When I installed it, the rear fender plastic was touching the silencer to where it likely would've melted my plastic. To prevent that, I just used a dremel to cut an undetectable amount of plastic off the fender and added a few extra washers in-between the mounting hole on the subframe and plastic and boom! Good to go! Go up a tooth on the rear sprocket with this pipe for a well priced and effective upgrade!
