Jury still out

Comments On Dec 19, 2015:I've only got a few rides on this pipe so far. I honestly think I prefer the power delivery of the stock pipe. The gnarly is certainly tougher and gives a little more grunt on the bottom, but signs off a lot sooner on the top.

Good woods riding pipe

Comments On Nov 19, 2015:Good quality piece. Really lowers the RPM where the motor comes on pipe by about 1,000 rpm.

TORQUE!

Comments On Oct 20, 2015:This pipe does exactly what it is advertised for, adding low to mid power! I crushed my stock pipe on a log, and this pipe is a great replacement. Weight seemed close to stock. For riding tight single track, this pipe is great! Bring power down where I need it. I usually ride these types of trails, so it is perfect. It did take some top end, so I am shifting up when in open trails, where the stock pipe would pull longer. Not a huge issue for me, but worth noting. Install was easy and it looks great! Hope it holds up when I go down on some logs again.

Will never ride without one again

Comments On Sep 02, 2015:I ride mostly single track in some gnarly tight conditions. I noticed the low down grunt difference immediately and still have my grin when I wind it up. Great pipe, I'm sold.

Street Legal 2 Stroke

Comments On Aug 24, 2015:I noticed on the road the transition through the power band is very smooth. Holding high rpms at consistent speeds is much easier. Combined with a Steahly Flywheel weight the bike launches from a dead stop which is handy when trying to get over large logs on tight trails. I would not discourage anyone from buying the Gnarly pipe, but get the flywheel weight as well.

These things are awesome

Comments On Aug 20, 2015:The gnarly torque pipe works great. Gives you a little more bottom end grunt and smoothens out the hit at the powerband transition. I run them on this bike and my ktm 300 and they are great. I mostly ride tight single track, the nastier the better. Open desert, not so much.
