Good mid to top cams
I have the matching exhaust cam and the combo makes great mid to top power. I did lose a little off the bottom but that made the transition to the mid range better. The top end will let you hold a gear all the way to the rev limiter, it doesn't fall flat like the stock cams.

Good with a Big Bore
Typically with a big bore you lose top end and gain a lot of bottom. With these cams the bike pulls hard from top to bottom.

Can i use stock valve springs with stage 2 hotcams?
Ryan B on Nov 29, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I had no problems running stock valve springs on a YZ250F with 290cc big bore kit. Keep in mind that the bike didn’t rev as high as stock due to the big bore. I would trust the Hot Cams literature.
