Great product, takes the worry out of running out of fuel on long rides.
A must have item if your kids on 65cc bikes ride 35+ mile poker runs or off road races.

Good buy for 2-strokes
This tank works great. It siphons off the fuel in it first and then switches to the main tank. I always make it back to the truck now.

Acerbis Front Auxiliary Fuel Tank
Heavy duty and functions as advertised, siphons into main tank first so the added weight felt in the steering gets lighter quickly as fuel is burned. Empty the weight is not really felt so no need to remove it but easily done. Nice knowing I have added range for those long rides to the middle of nowhere and back.

Quality good but bulky
It was much bulkier than the picture portrayed. If you don't mind the bulk, the quality was good.

works, but does not fit
it does not fit, at all, on a 2011 honda crf450r with steering dampener. I bought this because i am short and didnt want to kick my leg over on on the rear fender.....but that it what i have to do now. Now will just use it as a gas can to refill when i am close to empty.

even without the steering dampener, i doubt it would have fit correctly

Solid tank, mounting sucks.
Went to mount on a 2008 yz250f. It would be too much trouble and need too many modifications. Hand guard interference, and brake hose issues. It would probably mount up easier on an older bike. Ended up buying a oversize tank for the bike.

didnt fit
seems like it would have been a good product except I could not find any way to mount it with the included brackets. very heavy even before and fuel in it

good tank terrible sihpon
the tank is solid, mounting hardware solid but didn't fit out of the box.. had to bend the fork mounts open to fit upper fork tubes. straps were too small. had to use larger hose clamps from the hardware store. Siphon SUCKS! and not literally. hose is coiled so it doesn't reach bottom of tank. must use

a hose or transfer siphon from auto parts store. NO INSTRUCTIONS for siphon. Like they went to lunch half way thru the product design and didn't come back. buy it for the tank but rig it up yourself.

Not the greatest product
Bought this for my 2001 YZ250 for extra fuel mileage on the trail. Main brackets had to be pounded flatter to fit right. Hose clamps were not nearly big enough so bought bigger ones. It never siphoned in tank. However, once on, it held good while riding and it was nice having the extra fuel even if I had to take a siphon hose to manually put into main tank. Yes I noticed the extra weight on front but for trail riding it was fine.

extra miles
i love the aux fuel tank, only drawback is the filler cap is had to get off, other than that this tank is awesome and will add hours of fun without heading back to camp for fuel!
