When you’re looking for the benefits of a heavier flywheel but don’t want to replace the flywheel itself, pick up the Steahly Heavy Flywheel Weight for more momentum and faster riding right out of the gate.

A heavier flywheel can make a big difference to the characteristics of your dirt bike’s engine. With heavier inertial mass your engine will have more spinning momentum. When you’re on the throttle this translates to the power building up and coming on more smoothly, giving you increased traction and less stalling at low rpms. These characteristics are perfect for new riders just learning throttle control and seasoned enduro riders that need the extra momentum and engine lugging ability when they run into slow, technical terrain.

If you find yourself disliking the need to wind up your engine, install a Stealhy Heavy Flywheel Weight to put your bike’s power exactly where you want it.

  • Securely and easily attaches to existing flywheel
  • Comes with hardware and spacer plate
  • Makes for smoother delivery of power
  • Increases traction on difficult terrain
  • Reduces likelihood of stalling at low speeds and rpm

Comments On Oct 14, 2015:I put this on my CR250 that i'm setting up for singletrack and the difference is better than expected. I went with 12oz. and Im glad i did. Stalling issues in tight rocky areas has gone away . My bike lugs along great at low speed and just feels all around better.

Loved it

Comments On Oct 13, 2015:Made a huge difference during low end operations. Kept the bike from stalling and let me "lug" the bike a little more when I needed it.

Transformed my bike easier to ride tight sections

Comments On Sep 28, 2015:Transformed my bike easier to ride tight sections. I was afraid the bike would feel slower after installation. That doesn't appear to be the case the bike still rev's up very fast. I think it has improved wheel spin somewhat when searching for traction in sandy conditions
Pro's Easier to launch no longer have to rev the engine much on launch Doesn't flame out suddenly with no warning anymore when putting along or launching. More forgiving if riding a gear to high smoother when lugging motor.
Cons Having to epoxy this to the flywheel meant no going back after installation (Very glad i liked it)

Comments On Sep 17, 2015:OK first off I want to be clear on details since so few of these reviews says anything other than "yea great product gave more traction less stalling". I put the 13 oz. FWW on a 2010 YZ250 that has a PC exhaust 304 Silencer, V-force 3 reeds, some head work, and couple other mods. Before this mod this bike literally tried to pull your arms off. I ride 90% gnarly woods, hills, single track. It gave me arm pump like a mother. Bike stalled pretty easily and just made me tired as heck after a 5 hr day of riding. I was worried that the 13 oz may be too much weight but so far I am very content.
PROS: Easy to install/uninstall, makes the bike pull like a train just not as snappy truly does not feel like any "power loss", traction is something you will now be able to find, each gear pulls a bit longer which is great for off-road riding, stalling on tight single track isn't a problem anymore 13 oz can be turned down to a lower weight if ever desired.
CONS: Only downside is on steep hills needing to be more careful about the gear you choose. Before I would whack the clutch a bit and the power was there instantaneously. Now it can be a bit slow and I mean just a bit. The reason for this is the FWW adding work load to the engine in addition to the climb combined with the fact the bike is just plain hooking up. If you are a REALLY fast off-road guy the 13 oz may be a little more than you want.

Was a little sceptical adding a flywheel weight

Comments On Jul 21, 2015:Quite happy with the 9 0z. flywheel weight. It makes the bike fire up easier. The added weight has a little pulsing feeling just off idle but does allow the bike to chug at the lower RPM's better. I do not feel any less acceleration with the weight. In fact it seems to actually put more power to the ground than stock. Happy with the weight. With Pipe, silencer, jetting and the FW weight in really has made the YZ come alive and be a far better bike with the mod's. I was far to tame in OEM configuration.
