    Excellent premix oil
I almost always ran castor 927 except for about a year I ran klotz R50, but I have always preferred the 927. It can leave a trail of spooge out the tip of your silencer or anywhere you may have a exhaust leak. It tends to gum up the powervalve, but cleaning the powervalve is part of my maintenance routine so that part doesn't bother me. Using Castor 927 has never left me with an engine seizure, a busted piston, or bad scoring in the cylinder as well.

    Castor 927
My friend is an expert mechanic and he is always amazed at the shape of my cylinder/top end and crank. This oil burns "dirty" out of the exhaust but there is never carbon buildup on the top end. I have used the motorcycle manufacturer brands and they just don't have the same viscosity.

Im wondering if this would be fine to run in a 2018 150sx, i dont like paying so much for the motorex stuff. Is it fully synthetic too?
    Blake M on Jun 21, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No its not a synthetic, synthetic is better for 4 strokes but for ultimate protection in a 2 stroke castor is best but it is not recommended for slow trail riders who do not get the bike on the pipe once and a while or who foul plugs regularly as it likes to be run at hotter cylinder temps if your a medium speed or faster rider it burn clean smells great and protects awesome its just not the beast oil for slow or low rpm riders synthetic oil is better for slower riders as it burns cleaner at low combustion temps
Does this stuff actually leave that much residue?? Also, could I run this in my 2003 KTM 125sx?
    Noah H on Nov 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Been using this oil for years in my vintage bikes to keep them alive. 125 & 250. Never had a ring stick, very little carbon. Good film when disassembled. Also run this in my Yamaha trials bike, no plug fouling! These are all run at 32 to 1. I will add that this has mix is not as forgiving as others to sitting in a carb for extended periods of non-use. Jet your bike accordingly. My son has is running this in his 2015 125 ktm. Pretty hard to beat IMO.

So does this stuff gum up power valves and piston rings etc;? I have a brand new '18 300 XCW and worried that I should run something "cleaner" for a new bike..Motorex 2T oil is completely different than Maxima 927..
    Michael A on Dec 21, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This is the only oil i have ever used for the past 20+ years , zero power valve issues for me
How much do I use when mixing it with gas ?
For my 2002 Yamaha blaster 200cc
    DaQwon P on Aug 15, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It's best to refer to an online forum such as Thumper Talk to see if someone has a Blaster that can help with information on a good premix ratio for that quad. If you can't get any information that route, you might try what I did for a 2006 Honda CR250R. I ran 40:1 using premium pump gas. Just make sure your jetting isn't lean. If you're uncomfortable with 40:1, you can safely do 32:1 and go from there. The issue I had with this oil was excessive spooge out of the exhaust pipe. It's my understanding that castor based oils work best in high revving engines, and I tend to stay in the lower rpms.
Can we get this in 5 gallon buckets ? If so how muchj
    A shopper on Jun 11, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately, we do not carry this in a 5 gallon bucket. The biggest size we have is a 64 oz bottle.
