  • Yamalube Fuel Med RX was designed for use with ethanol-enriched gasoline. No other formula on the market provides this level of ethanol fuel corrosion protection for metals and aluminum fuel system components.
  • More ethanol means more sulfate salts, which results in more corrosion. Yamalube's special formulation not only stabilizes all types of gasoline, but provides superior metal corrosion protection from the high levels of ethanol sulfate salts found in today's fuel. It also provides advanced metal protection for future E15 and/or E20 fuel.
  • Alcohol-free formula that not only locks in fuel potency, but helps to prevent fuel oxidation, phase separation, gum, and varnish build up. Even fights corrosion in harsh saltwater environments.
  • Continuous use/ in-season: Good practice is to treat the unused fuel no later than 7 days after purchase; best practice is to treat fuel at time of purchase. Treatment rate is 1 oz. to every 3 gallons of gasoline.
  • The handy 3.2 oz size is formulated to treat 5 gallons of gas for continuous in-season use.
  • Storage use/ out of season: Treat fuel if will sit more than 60 days in the unit's fuel tank. Treatment rate is 1 oz. to 1 gallon of gasoline.

3 Years No Issues

Comments On Mar 28, 2016:I did some research on fuel stabilizers and learned that those with alcohol were probably worse for your engine. This does not have alcohol and I started to use it back in late 2012 in my dirt bikes/quad/lawn equipment. I have not had a single issue starting any of those. Even the chainsaw which sits for months at a time.
I wish there was a standards group that tested these in controlled tests with published results but until then I will keep using the Yamalube as it has yet to let me down in 3+ years and I am not even a Yamaha guy.
