Working Great So Far
Use these a few times and they are lifesavers for my hands. The hardest part of the installation was removing the old ones.

These are sweet
I bought these for cold weather riding while going hunting. They work very well. Takes a little time for them to warm up, but when they do, they will keep your hands toasty. Install video on website was perfect. Only took 30 minutes to install.

tusk heated grips
these grips were easy to install and only took me about three hours to install, of course that's because of my OCD disorder ( according to my friends it would have taken less time ). The wires were easy to route and plugged together without any drama. I haven't got to use them yet but I did turn them on and they work just fine. I really like the five different settings on the controls as opposed to the off/low/high settings on other grips I've used.

How many watts per grip on the maximum setting?
A shopper on Feb 7, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I have reviewed the documentation sheet listed with this product, also reviewed the Specs listed in the main body of the advertisement, and cannot find the ampere rating for the fuse that comes with the heated grips. So if any of you have purchased this item and can post the fuse rating that came with the heated grips we can easily determine the exact answer.

Carl H has (helpfully) posted he has wired into the fuse box from a 5 Amp fuse and it is not blowing, so we can use his info as a baseline.

Apply Ohm's Law for wattage calculations to determine the answer. In this case, Voltage multiplied by (current) Amperes = Watts.

For example, in a 12 Volt system with a 5 Amp fuse the maximum Wattage for the set would be 60 Watts. There are two(2) grips, so divide by 2 to arrive at each grip's max wattage = 30 Watts.

From a design perspective, the grips should never draw the max wattage for the heat coils - so for the example cited above your battery will be drawing something less that 60 Watts total on the maximum setting.
Would these fit a 2010 Kawasaki Voyager and if so how difficult are they to put on? What about a 2010 Kawasaki Ninja?
A shopper on Oct 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: No they will not.
These grips are for ATVs. The handle bar diameter on ATVs is the same on the left and the right. The twist throttle on a
Motorcycle makes the diameter of the right grip larger than the left.
Rocky Mountain sells a universal heating element kit which fits under your existing grip. That kit is inexpensive, and is what I use on my KLR. I use a turn signal relay to cycle the grips for the low heat setting instead of the resistor that comes with that kit.
Will these fit on a 2015 honda foreman trx500 model?
A shopper on Nov 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, they will. They're a universal piece that fits on nearly any machine with a power supply.
Tried to put these on my 1998 polaris sportsman and they would only go on half way. Had to destory the grip to get it off my handlebar. Any suggestions?
Mike G on Nov 27, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The use of a lubricant like soapy water or grip glue helps the grips slide on the handlebar all the way.
Are the rubber grips replaceable or do you have to replace the whole set-up once they wear out?
Michael A on Jan 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: No .They are one piece grip and heater but I have put these on a number of wheelers .I put a set on my wheeler also ,you will never wear them out for years .Good quality .
I looked at the install document found here. What size of fuse is needed for these grips?
Steven C on Jan 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: 20 amp should be fine. If you ground the grips on their own ground( alone)they will work great. a
Any chance you have any single grips?. All i need is ome grip
mike m on Jan 4, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I looked into this for you and unfortunately we only sell these in a kit. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
Will you sell just a single side grip? I accidentally broke one during install.
Thomas F on Jan 20, 2018
BEST ANSWER: you could call in and talk to our warranty department but im not sure they will or not.
can these grips be run on AC power or are they only for DC?
Josh L on Jan 16, 2018
BEST ANSWER: after speaking with a couple people here, we think that this could possibly work it will run at a higher amperage and that could cause some issues. this is not the way that the kit is designed and could cause issues with it. and if this is not installed the way it is intended it will void the warranty and we cannot take it back.

Nick P on Nov 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: 5 inches
