Learning curve required

Comments On Jul 26, 2014:In nasty elevation trails I struggled more but that's user error. This thing is nicely executed. The description doesn't include it currently but of the 2 pieces that I bought (for my XC300 as well) both came with 3 mounting holes to allow you to adjust placement. I tried the rear setting & I'm going to move them forward to see if I have less occurrences of unintended breaking when my foot slips etc. I REALLY feel pretty good about spending this money & that's not something I can say often

This thing is BIG

Comments On Jan 18, 2014:It is big, like stand back after installing it and wonder if it's too big, big. Like the pancakes John Candy cooked up in "Uncle Buck" big. It's big. But it works. I highly recommend not installing this the night before a race as it takes some time to get used to. I cooked my rear brake in the first section by dragging the rear brake. But it is adjustable, there are three mounting holes to personalize your fit. If you have big feet, dont make the mistake of mounting it too far to the rear like I did, thus the dragging issue. If you own a KTM you will be pleasantly surprised that this is a plug and play item, it threads nicely into your existing bolt holes with high quality stainless steel hardware. Plus that third bolt hole makes a very nice and clean mounting option for a brake-snake if you run one. I highly recommend this tip and would buy one for future bikes.

Easy on and Looks great.

Comments On Jan 10, 2014:Replaced my other brake pedal that was bent. This looks good and its bigger than the OEM pedal. Took some getting a costumed too but now I'm good.

Good Product

Comments On Jan 06, 2014:Fits well, was kinda nervous how it would bolt to stock rear brake lever. There are ZERO installation instructions. However its fairly self explanatory, I just ground off the stock rivets, and then ran a tap through the holes so the hammerhead tip could simply bolt straight to the lever without having a nut on the bottom side to hold it on, looks much cleaner. Much bigger than stock tip, dont ever miss the rear brake now coming hot into a turn!!
