    Perfect fit
This was a direct replacement for the stock kill switch. Plugged in perfectly with the oem receiver. wires were the correct length with no excess wires to try sticking somewhere. This was for a 2011 YZ250

    Get it together Tusk/Rocky Mountain!
This is a fine kill switch if your bike actually has the same connectors that come from Tusk. After arguing with customer service that my bike had different connectors from the factory, they said, sorry go put the right connectors on yourself. Not happy with the product.

It fills its function , although I had to modify the female electrical connection to fit a female connection( a little squeeze and it snapped right in .

Not 'Plug and play" for all bikes.
I own a 06 Honda crf150f and figured it is a common bike so when it said plug and play id be ok. This was not the case as it uses quick connects on the switch and those aren't on the crf. I was able to do some rewiring and now everything is fine and the product is working well. Would recommend however make sure you have quick connects or be sure to prepare for rewiring.

    Kill Switch
I installed this on a 2005 CRF80F. Description says it will just connect to factory, but I had to cut off plug connector to change out to a ring connector. Not a big deal, but not a direct replacement. Works fine and cheaper than a factory part.

Is this normally open or closed?
    trent b on Sep 17, 2016
BEST ANSWER: A kill switch is a normally open circuit. When kill switch is pressed it grounds out, closes the circuit, and there is no more spark for engine to fire.
Does this come with the pigtail or is it just the switch?
    CJ H on Jul 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes it would come with pigtails with the bullet connectors to connect right into the harness on your vehicle
