Primary Drive RDO Chain and Aluminum Sprocket

Want a sprocket that will last for seasons without weighing a ton? Then grab an Aluminum Rear Sprocket from Primary Drive.

With sprockets made from lightweight, aircraft grade aluminum that has been CNC machined, heat treated, and anodized, it’s clear Primary Drive makes an incredible sprocket. Not only will these sprockets keep you from losing teeth or jumping a chain, but they’ll hold fast against prolonged wear and warpage even as the hours pile up. Self-cleaning grooves between each tooth displace abrasive build up to keep the chain and sprocket in spec while the anodized finish doesn’t just add color but forms a barrier from harsh elements. Finally, Primary Drive designs their sprockets to replace your OEM piece, so you don’t even have to go out of your way to get the benefits of Primary Drive’s Aluminum Rear Sprocket. Just bolt it up and ride.

  • Replacement rear sprocket
  • Bolts up to stock mounting points
  • Uses stock hardware
  • High-strength aluminum alloy construction
  • Heat treated and anodized for extended wear
  • Self-cleaning grooves extend sprocket and chain life
  • Precisely fit to replace OEM sprockets

Great Product at a Good Price

Comments On Sep 29, 2015:Shopping for aftermarket parts for the Cobra can be daunting and expensive, but the PD sprocket did the job. Everything lined up perfectly and there were no imperfections to be found.

Surprisingly high quality

Comments On Aug 26, 2015:Okay so here's the thing, I have a street legal KTM and it's tough to find a rear sprocket that gives me top end but still has juice through the woods. I'm running a 45 tooth and that fits the bill for my riding style. Honestly though, I'm worried that the aluminum construction won't last as long (duh) as a steel sprocket but I couldn't find a 45 in steel that fit my bike. For the price though, I won't be heartbroken if I go through a sprocket a season.

Never Buy Auminum. BUY STEEL SPROCKET!!

Comments On Jul 22, 2015:This sprocket must have flexed under hard acceleration and loosened the bolts even with lok-tite. It occurred multiple times. The final and last time I was riding on a motocross track and the bolts must have came out going up a jump and at the same time I shifted, heard a loud pop, still managed to get a little air off the jump then hit the ground with the rear locked up. I blew second and third gear. Since then I swapped to steel. I feel for the whole idea of aluminum being lighter than the steel which is true but what is a few less rotating ounces compared to the weight of your tires and axle.
