Never Buy Auminum. BUY STEEL SPROCKET!!

Comments On Jul 22, 2015:This sprocket must have flexed under hard acceleration and loosened the bolts even with lok-tite. It occurred multiple times. The final and last time I was riding on a motocross track and the bolts must have came out going up a jump and at the same time I shifted, heard a loud pop, still managed to get a little air off the jump then hit the ground with the rear locked up. I blew second and third gear. Since then I swapped to steel. I feel for the whole idea of aluminum being lighter than the steel which is true but what is a few less rotating ounces compared to the weight of your tires and axle.

What a difference

Comments On Apr 24, 2015:Put this sprocket on my bike a few rides ago. Had a 48 tooth on there and replaced it with this Primary Drive 49 tooth sprocket. It looks great and the larger sprocket size made a HUGE difference. A cheap and easy way to add some low-end power.

Not machined on both sides like a brand name sprox

Comments On Feb 11, 2015:What you're paying for is a basic colored aluminum sprocket with the channels for directing dirt away from the chain only machined on one side. The other side is entirely flat. This is not true for high-end brand name sprockets which are machined on both sides. Otherwise you'll never notice a difference. Seemed slightly heavier than my old Renthal of the same size.

Couldn't be happier

Comments On Jan 28, 2015:Awesome color with the anodized orange. A bit lighter than stock. Used it on 2 pretty hard trail rides now and hasn't gotten dinged up or anything.
