    Great guide
Much more durable than factory piece. There are cheaper guides that look similar to this one, but they are very noisy, and this thing is silent.

    Good looking part
my bike has some age and I've been replacing a bunch of parts. The OEM chain guide looked old and out of place so I replaced it with this unit. Perfect fit, looks great, I'm happy with it.

Not so sure about Plastic, but here it goes
Not so sure how this will hold up but it bolted right up. I did have to get some longer bolts for it, so I dinged it for fitment. I like the idea of the polymer chain guide. I guess we will find out how durable it is when I slam it into some rocks.

    A must need replacement part.
After you change your first set of chain and sprockets the tm designs chain guide is a must need. These things will last forever and with less drag than the stock one.

This chain guide looks good and wears well but is easily damaged by rocks. Needs to be a little stronger.

How good are these chain guide?
    Dylan D on Mar 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I’ve used several over the years, mainly on Suzukii’s 450 and RM250’sI usually only have to buy one andnot lasts until I buy new bikeI ride MOTO and do some off road when we have some rain on So Ca They take a beating and have never bent oneI would say they are the best out there and would highly recommend if they fit your bike
Is the TM guide wide enough for an xring chain?
    A shopper on Jan 27, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I haven’t had any problems running wide chains. The material is soft enough not to hurt the chain. I have bent the mount and this guide survived but had some extra wear from running bent. Good stuff!
so, how does it hold up, and am I right in thinking its plastic? how loud is it?
    korbin m on Jun 1, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes it is plastic, it does hold up really good, it is loud. You just have to get use to it or you would be thinking something is wrong. But made very well I had to put washers behind it to have it line up good with the chain I would bye again
Do the mounting bolts come with this or do you use the factory ones?
    ROGER W on Jun 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It came with mounting bolts, which were slightly different than the stock YZ bolts.
Will this work with oversized rear sprockets?
    A shopper on May 24, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes as long as you are within the factory specs of what sprockets can go on the bike , usually they will have three or four sprocket ranges .

Where does this mount on the swingarm of my 05 Honda Trx450r? The picture of the red version does not look like it will fit my machine.
    Adam K on Jun 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I also had this issue, more than likely the pic is of a generic part and they send the specific one that fits your machine. I had no issues when I ordered mine
