Looks Good. Easy to Mount. Poor performance!!

Comments On Apr 09, 2015:Bought for my TRX450 and after a couple hours of frustrating adjustments still very stiff. Much more than stock and a great deal more so than much cheaper levers I have on other bikes. Including another much cheaper MSR lever I have on another bike which is why I went with this to begin with. Either save your money and go with cheaper MSR or get the Streamline or ASV. This was installed with a brand new clutch cable and previous cable/clutch/lever was fine just getting rid of factory perch.

AWESOME!! Almost hydrolic feel.

Comments On Mar 21, 2015:Great product. I put stiffer springs in my clutch, and thought I would use this to offset the difference in clutch feel. Turns out, even with stiffer springs, it's a huge improvent. The two guys I ride with most both ride KTMs. Those have hydrolic clutches if you don't know. They have both said it feels just as good or better than theirs.

Meh....was a waste of money for me

Comments On Jan 28, 2015:I bought one of these MSR shorty levers because I had read favorable reviews both here and on a Husqvarna forum. People described the lever as comfortable, and easing the amount of force needed to pull the clutch lever in. The lever was easy to install and looked good on my WR300, but did not make the clutch pull lighter than stock, even with the cable end in the easiest position. Adjustment was poor. The clutch dragged, even when I had all the free play adjusted out. The little "traction" insert on the lever felt uncomfortable to my fingers right through my gloves, and the ball end seemed to interfere with my pinky finger. Three hours on the trail with this lever was enough. I switched back to the stock Magura (or Domino....not sure which) as soon as I got home. I guess I'll keep the MSR one as an emergency spare.

Do NOT buy this if you have a good time riding....

Comments On Jul 13, 2014:I bought this and had nothing but issues with it. After about 3 hours of messing around with it the thing shattered and crumbled out of nowhere in the adjustment section. Wouldn't ever recamend this to anyone. Put the old stock one back on and was riding in seconds!

Exactly what I was looking for

Comments On Nov 21, 2013:I have been having tendon issues in my hands for the past year or so and would be in serious pain after riding. On long rides it would get to the point where I had trouble pulling the clutch in. This perch made the pull effortless even with one or two fingers. The adjustability it offers is great. Only problem I had was with the stock cable on my XR400 being too short. I was easily able to remove the cable from its sheath and replace with a custom length cable using the local hardware store. Amazing product that helps me keep riding.

2006 KLX250S

Comments On Jun 10, 2013:Fit well, lighter pull than stock, perfect for a 2 finger pull without smashing your other fingers. Super easy to adjust.

Great lever

Comments On Feb 07, 2012:Coupled with a well lubed cable or new cable, this lever transformed the clutch action that is on par with any hydraulic clutch units.

finally got it to work on Banshee

Comments On Aug 19, 2011:had to use the factory adjuster and had to totally remove the locknut for their to be enough play on my clutch cable. I do love the pull of this lever though.

Easy Pull Clutch

Comments On Sep 20, 2010: I have two of these and they work excellent! I have bark busters so they are protected in a fall, but no problems for over 5 years.
