When you want to up the power of your Yamaha ATV or dirt bike, go with the GYTR High Compression Piston Kit for big gains that won’t disappoint.

Count on the GYTR piston to put up 1.5 to 3 hp and spread it out all along your power band for a solid power increase that lends itself to all riding types. An all forged construction with excellent wear and lubricity gives the GYTR piston enough strength to push the compression inside your combustion chamber up into the thirteens to promote a more efficient and powerful combustion. The head of the piston is set up for further engine mods with extra material taken from the valve pockets for additional valve clearance should you ever choose to install a cam with more lift than stock. With some models, it’s possible to use stock gaskets, which is just as convenient as installing the GYTR piston since it doesn’t require crank rebalancing to run properly. A high compression piston has never been easier to install or more optimized for your machine’s performance than Yamaha’s GYTR High Comp Piston.

Whether you want a solid base for additional add-ons or just that extra little bit to put you over the top, Yamaha’s GYTR High Compression Piston Kit will give you what you need.

  • 1.5 to 3 horsepower increase across power band
  • Forged aluminum piston
  • Includes piston, piston rings, wrist pin, and circlips
  • Valve pockets increase piston to valve clearance
  • No crank rebalancing required
  • NOTE: Requires minimum 100 octane racing fuel
  • NOTE: This performance accessory does not meet California standards for off-road recreational vehicle usage regardless of model year. See more at:

nothing better than gytr products!

Comments On May 28, 2013:I decided to heavily modify my yz250f motor and this piston was a great choice. you'll need to use race fuel,100 octane min, but if your looking for more power in this motor get an exhaust then upgrade the piston. if you still want more then get some stage 2 cams and a valve spring kit! it'll be one head rippin 250f!
