When replacing pistons, I always use Wiseco. They've been around as long as I remember back to when my Dad was racing dirt bikes in the mid 70s. A company that has lasted that long is doing something right.
Good fitment and durable. Even after 50 hours of hard runtime when replacing the piston the bearing was still like the day I put it in. Thanks Wiseco for making quality parts, and thanks Rocky Mountain ATV for fast and easy ordering/delivering.
First time buyer and first time rebuilding an engine. Bearing seems to do exactly what it is designed to do,install was simple and fit was right. Only put 10 minutes on rebuild but everything seems good.
when Freshening up you top end with a Wiseco Piston Kit, order one of these as Well, its piece of Mind knowing everything is Wiseco & Matched, Reason it Doesn't come with the Piston kit is because you can use your old OEM Bearing along with it, BUT Why Would you? Highly Recommend spending the Extra few $ since you're in there anyway May as well Do it Right & do it with Wiseco!
Machine this part was bought for: 2015 YAMAHA YZ25
BEST ANSWER:Yes wiseco wristpin bearing will work on oem piston. It's also good to make sure crank bearings are in good shape with no play in bearings. Not sure if your replacing ring to but this would be good to do as long as cylinder and post are in good shape.

Very good question- to the naked eye, the bearing appeared to be the same dimensions as my OEM one- but I did not put a micrometer to it, and that's where the numbers count.
