Great all around jacket. The lined pockets are truly waterproof. The description highlights the vents, which do work great. With those vents closed and the liner in however, this is a 3 and 1/2 season jacket. I've done my half hour commute in the 30's and been comfortable. The size is true. Don't go by the arm lengths. A large is a large.

Really good jacket...
I have had this jacket for several months now, May to Dec. I like it a lot with only a few minor hang ups. Fit is great, Im a large man at 6'2'' and 270lbs. Im working on that. Rode all summer with liner out and it breathes well, I can keep cool in the warm weather of western WA coastal area. all the pads stay put and feel like they will protect me well. Have not had to depend on them for that yet. Color is very bright ( I have day glow yellow) and easy to spot me riding. Winter riding has been good. I was daily rider to and from work until Dec. My biggest gripe is when riding with jacket zipped down a ways at highway speeds the collar snap will flap around and beat my helmet. A LOT. Like drive me friggin crazy, a lot. Have ridden in rain several times and no problems. I have used this for my Search and Rescue missions and after several hours in a steady down pour of rain, riding through puddles and such, it did soak through. These were extreme conditions and Im not sure that there are many jackets that would have done much better. I was warm until I stopped. Cold out side and wet inside is no fun. Riding was fine its the standing around that got me. Temps were in the low 40s to mid 30s. My next jacket will probably be the Battle born ARC jacket. But no regrets about buying this one!

not waterproof
good for cold weather, super comfortable but after being rained on twice, its not at all waterproof. I've taken to wearing a rainjacket underneath this one in order to stay dry. I'm not sure if there is a way to make it waterproof? This is a problem with year round riding in rainy Vancouver BC

Good so far
This jacket works pretty good and is very warm for the winter, but it lets water penetrate around the upper arms after being poured on for a while. For average rain, it works fine. I even took a branch to the shoulder and it only shows a little scuff. The branch had the end sawed off and it hit me like a jousting pole nearly taking me off the bike, but the armor worked great.

My first touring jacket.
My first impressions of the jacket out of the box was that it was pretty heavy. But after wearing it a few times it's not that noticeable. I rode yesterday in sub freezing weather it was 25 degrees when I left the house and the jacket did very well. The inner liner is kind of tricky to insert after removing. I'm sure it will get easier after doing it a few times. There are plenty of pockets and adjustment straps to customize the fit. Overall I'm pleased with the jacket especially for the price. I tried on another jacket at my dealer that's was double the price of this one and I really couldn't tell the difference. Will definitely recommend to my riding buddies.

Excellent
Got mine 3 years ago and must say I like it better than my First Gear Kilomanjero that I bought 2 years ago. It is warmer. Has 4 pockets instead of 2. Hoping to buy another sometime next year.

First adventure jacket
I bought this jacket as my first adventuIre style jacket. So far I love it. I have ridden in 30 degree weather and it does a great job of keeping the wind out and keeping me toasty warm. It even survived my first crash. The high vis color is great.
