Super easy to mount and accurate. Hardest part is finding a spot to mount it.

May work better on some bikes than others
My buddy mounted one on a suzuki rm and it worked great, but on my yamaha and honda's it doesnt seem to be as accurate, I guess it works off of vibration and I think that is why its hit and miss a bit. everyone knows suzuki's rattle more than other bikes..lol J/k In all honesty I compared it to my wired version and it always showed less time at the end of the day, but as someone else reviewed I have noticed it will add time while on the trailer, not much but mine did show .5 (30 minutes) after a 4 hour trailer ride to a race.

    Easier than wired
Works, but mount with double sided tape. My local shop switched it to Velcro and due to not being firm against frame it wasn't registering the running time accurately. Switched back to double sided tape and it was on the money.

    Decent Hour meter
I had it on the wife's Kodiak 700 and it didn't pick up the vibrations like it says we rode for over 2 hours and it only logged .5 hours. I am going to try it on my yz250f directly on the frame next to the engine and see if it will be better. As for anow atv I would not recommend. Will update review after I use it on the dirt bike!

    what bike is it for?
    A shopper on Apr 24, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I am using the Hardline Wireless Hour Meter on my son's race bike; a 2016 YZ125. We love it! It would also work on other bikes as well. Do not rely on the double sided tape only to hold this on your bike; I wrapped a zip tie around it as well.
if your hauling your bike on a trailer will it viberate enough to count time?
    william n on Apr 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes it does !!!!
I fitted mine to my quad bike's plastics close to the engine. I tested to see if it would work on the plastic as it is most visible there . It did work and I was happy.
Then did the 1st ride. I did not look at the hour meter when i off loaded, but only after the ride. Again happy with the unit and left for home. When i cleaned the quad i saw that the unit had 0.4 hours more than when i left the desert.
This also happened on second ride and now has 0.7 hrs more than what the engine did.

I will be replacing it with wire unit as fitted to my other bikes. I do believe that it might be caused by the vibration/flapping of the plastic in the turbulent air behind the pickup.

Maybe on something heavier or more stable during transportation it wouldn't be activated by vibration and might work, but i am replacing mine .....
