    Great kit.
Can’t go wrong with OEM parts. The kit is great, you don’t have to order parts individually.

The seal was too tight, ended up using an aftermarket set. Dust cover and sleeves all fit however so not sure why seal was either wrong size or manufactured incorrectly.

Best price for OEM. Got over 20 dusty Arizona desert rides and hasn't leaked 1 drop.

    20hrs and still strong!
Awesome replacement fork seals. I’ve put over 20hrs on them with my YZ250 woodsbike and they show no signs of failure. Make sure you measure your forks before ordering! I have a 03 YZ250 but over the years one of the previous owners upgraded to newer 48mm forks. And the seals for a 03 bike Didn’t fit!

    Excellent seals
I've used other seals in the past but they don't seem to last as long as the factory OEM seals. This is a well priced kit with seals and bushings. Fits perfectly and lasts!

    Best Seal Kit
I have tried 2 different fork seals and they all seemed to last only 10 hours or so. I broke down and decided to try the oe seals with new bushings too. The oe seals are a different material then any other aftermarket ones. Everything fit perfect and has lasted well over 20 hours so far this summer.

I got two kits. One for my bike and one for my wife’ bike. All pieces were there as described. Everything went together well and the kits came in the mail well packed and fast. I would recommend this kit for fork replacement and recommend RM in general. This is my stop for all my bike parts.

Will this single kit do both forks?
    Josh R on Feb 4, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, This kit comes with enough material to replace both forks. I would highly recommend this kit
Does this kit come with all the bushings and washers for a 2003 yz125?
    A shopper on Oct 16, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Kit contains the dust seals, oil seals, inner and outer fork tube bushings.
How do you know which direction to mount the oil seal? That is, which side goes in the fork tube facing the handle bars and which side faces the wheel.

I am not speaking about the dust seal, only the oil seal. Thanks!
    Andrew B on Aug 16, 2018
BEST ANSWER: If you inspect the inside part of the oil seal carefully you will notice very small "fins" that aid in keeping the oil in the fork. One side of the fin more or less is a 90 degree edge and the other side slopes down. If you think about keeping oil in the fork, then you will insert the 90 degree fin up towards the handlebars, which leaves the sloping side down to the lower wheel axle. If you cannot see the fins visually (look outside in natural light) you may be able to feel by touch which side has the 90 degree lip to insert up towards the reservoir (handlebars)
Will these work on a 2001 wr 250? The service manual says that 2001-2003 are the same.
    Ron L on Mar 22, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I do not know if the wr250 and the wr450 are the same size fork, if they are then YES they will work just fine . I have had mine in for over a year and ride the desert a lot, I also use seal saver's. When I get done riding after every ride I wash the bike with the seal savers on THEN remove them( I have the Velcro type) then wipe down the lower fork leg, let the seal saver dry over night reinstall ready for the next ride(I have more than one set) So if I m riding later that same day or away for the weekend I m go to go with the extra pairs, Hope this helps...... Geo PS; a lot of people say don't use seal savers of any kind, but what you have to remember is they work just fine if you remove them after washing the bike and don't let then set on your forks WET overnight. Also keep in mind that if they get wet while riding they dry pretty quick, due to the movement of the forks while riding. If you are riding for a weekend just take them off, rinse off let air dry put back on in the morning, ala your out riding again. my actions with the seal savers all take place while I inspect the clean the chain and sprockets and re-lube the chain. it's an extra 10 minutes but pays off in the long run!
