The Motion Pro fork seal bullet saves you time, hassle and expensive mistakes. When it’s time to install a new fork seal on forks, all you need to do is slide on the seal bullet first. The seal goes right over the bullet and onto the fork, avoiding the bushing groove altogether. Otherwise, the groove can damage the seal, which can cause it to leak – obviously not the scenario you want when you’ve just bought a new fork seal and are going through the process of installing it. In this way, the seal bullet is like cheap insurance.

The Motion Pro seal bullet can be reused numerous times. If you expect to do more than one fork seal installation, you can bet on the seal bullet getting its uses. Just make sure to use a bit of grease or oil for lubricant, and you’ll appreciate its utility. Remember: It only takes a single mistake using a homemade method to make you wish you’d picked up a seal bullet the first time.

The Motion Pro fork seal bullet comes in numerous sizes. We’ve made selecting the right size easy – just put enter in your bike’s make, model and year to match it up with the size you need. If you’ve got several motorcycles and end up with more than one seal bullet lying around, you never have to worry because each bullet is marked with its size. Each is also color coded according to size:
  • 36mm – Red
  • 41mm – Blue
  • 43mm – Green
  • 45mm – Yellow
  • 46mm – Black
  • 47mm – White
  • 48mm – Orange
  • 49mm - Grey

If you’ve got a fork seal installation coming up, save yourself a headache and get the Motion Pro fork seal bullet. You’ll be glad you did!

    Specs:
  • Protects the fork seal and wiper on forks from damage by the bushing groove during installation.
  • Eliminates the need to wrap the fork tube with tape.
  • Fitment size is marked on each bullet for easy identification.

Piece of plastic that could safe a lot of hassle
Yes, it's a five six dollar piece of plastic that probably only cost a few cents producing it, but it is still worth the money. Imagine putting your dust and - more importantly - oil seal on without the bullet and pinching or scratching the seal. With everything put back together on the bike you come back from your test ride with leaking forks, just because you wanted to safe five dollas. Here's the wrong place to be stingy! Put it in cart, buy it, safe the hassle of doing all the work again.

Way better than using plastic baggy!
Can't beat it for the price. Made the job way faster than messing around with other methods.

Good to have
Good to have in the toolbox. Inexpensive insurance to make sure you don't damage your seals when sliding them on. Much easier than warping the end of your fork tube.

Tore the second time I used it
This is a great idea that were poorly executed. It is just too fragile, and some electrical tape will do the same job.

It will work but be very very careful when using it.

Must have!
I already have the complete set of M/P seal bullets and this is the newest one to ad to the set. In the past I've used baggies to prevent seal damage while installing on fork tubes, but these make for a simpler install without worry of baggie tearing or worse ,catching seal. They are snug and you'll really need dry clean hands to remove them...I wear nitrate gloves, so I just take glove off.

Nice to have
Yes, you could do the same job with a ziplock or electrical tape, but this tool works better and is easier to use. It's cheap and a no-brainer.

Well worth the money
This is a very simple item that makes installing wipers and fork seals easier and most importantly prevents damaging the seals. Like most, I had my personal trick to keep from cutting the seals but this is so much easier and pretty much fool-proof. Should last for more fork seals than any average person will ever install.

Does this replace a seal driver?
Tom P on Jul 16, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No. This goes over the fork end, greased up with fork oil, and the new seals slip over the bullet preventing small tears. You still need the driver to seat the seals properly when reassembled.
