This is a must have for replacing swingarm bearings, they worked great on my bike and have used them on several of my friends bikes as well.

Works great and the price is low. Workes much better than my homeade puller.

Does not do what the description says.
Works great at pressing in the bearings but sucks at removing the old ones.

    Well worth the Cash.
I used this tool and a combination of sockets to change my swingarm bearings along with the linkage and shock bearings. I can't imagine how tough it would have been without this. Just go ahead and buy it and save yourself some trouble.

Great little tool to add to the service collection
When removing and installing suspension bearings, shock bearings, even wheel bearings for various machines this tool comes in handy. Most of the time the job can be McGyvered but having this tool cuts down on having to use 15 different spacers, sockets and bolts.

    Great for KTM/Husky's...BUT...
Overall an awesome tool and worth every penny. Seriously if you're still trying to jerry-rig swingarm and linkage bearings in and out with punches and sockets, STOP BEING CHEAP and just buy this tool.

That said, though it's marketed as being for "Japanese bikes" it works great for KTM/Husqvarna (the new white ones) swingarm and linkage bearings EXCEPT for the lower shock bearing. Motion Pro unfortunately doesn't provide a bearing insert small enough for that particular location meaning you're still going to have to improvise a bit with sockets for that one. Not that big of a deal but a minor annoyance.

Good tool for installing swing arm bearings
This tool is advertised for installation of swing arm bearings. It can be used for removal of swing arm bearings as well if you have a larger socket. I used a 1 1/4" regular socket to allow the outer bearing space to extract to. Without the socket, the bearing will push against the washer of the tool and removal is not possible.

Will this work on removing the needle bearings in the Linkage? Specifically on a 17" KX 100
    Dustin M on Sep 10, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I highly doubt it. IT worked well on my 125 and 250s however it could not fit on my 85cc swingarm. The driver is too wide. I still used it, I took the driver to a machine shop and had them lathe another driver for me. The dimension would be dictated by the swingarm bore and bearing inner race diameter. It took them about 10 minutes. Don't let them make it too tight fitting. I now have 1 additional driver to use with this tool. This tool really works btw!
is there a video on how to use this tool? motion pro swing arm tool??

BEST ANSWER: I don't know of a video, but here's a link to the written instructions from Motion Pro.

How do I get the old races out of my swingarm ?. I have tried a bearing puller. They won't budge. They r froze up in there.
    Brownbottom on Nov 14, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Try using a torch to heat up the area surrounding the bearings. That will expand the aluminum housing and allow the bearings to be pulled or pressed out easier.
