  • The Race Tech KTM Bladder Cap Kit makes rebuilding WP shocks easier. The Bladder Cap Kit converts the stock piston type reservoir to a "state-of-the-art" Bladder Reservoir like the factory Showa and KYB's.
  • The Race Tech KTM Bladder Kit allows the shock to be filled with nitrogen with a regular Schrader Chuck.

Pays for itself
I've had mine for 2 seasons now and its definitely worth it in the feel of the bike, plush seems the perfect description. But maintanance is where it pays it's self off. No more spanner wrench no more dealer recharge fees. Any body with nitrogen ,a schrader chuck and a pressure gauge can recharge this bladder

WOW!!
I bought this product for my 2015 TC250 and its a night and day difference! The WP shock has a piston in the shock body instead of a bladder which can cause harshness. I installed this, and immediately noticed a difference. Much more plush. Would recommend to all KTM/Husqvarna owners

Serviceable and more plush
Easier to service and a little more plush versus the stock WP piston style

worth while upgrade, believe the hype
I have about 30 hours on one of these bladder kits that was installed when I had my suspension revalved. I just tore my shock down for servicing and was worried I might find the dreaded "beer foam" oil that has been mentioned on the net. Well.. I didn't. Much to-do about nothing. the Japanese shocks run nearly an identical setup, and of the ones of those I have torn down there has been no bladder issues either. One jap. shock was severely neglected, yet again, no holes or beer foam.

as far as ride quality there IS a difference and the shock soaks up the smaller hits with more plushness. there is no question. Servicing is also much easier and won't cost you an arm and a leg since most every ever shop can service a Schrader valve type; 10 bucks for a 150psi nitro fill at my local shop. this is a great upgrade and very worthwhile, there is a reason why tuners across America use them. they work!

Used quite a few of them
I have modified several bikes with them. KTM's mostly...

It allows us to do our own service easier. I think they are well worth the money. and probably saved thousands in service fees over the last ten years.

works good smoother ride and longer service breaks because the oil doesn't break down as much- good value

Fixed the hop
Easy to install, set the pressure and go ride. Rear wheel stays more planted and follows the ground way better. Took away the odd hop the PDS shock has. Much improved over the stock set up.

Saves money
Now I can service my KTM shock in my own garage and not pay somebody else $75 to do it.
