Rear Great, Front Decent

Comments On Oct 16, 2015:Had better tires in the front, Maxxis EN, Kenda Washougal, but the rear is great!
Rear has awesome bite in many conditions from mud to sandstone, flip direction after first 5 hours and run for 10 more.
Front is good, tracks well, slides a bit more on hardpack but every tire does, has good penetration in soft dirt and will perform great if ran at 10.5 to 12 lbs depending on terrain.

Great tire better then the 403

Comments On Aug 26, 2015:I would buy nothing but the Bridgestone 403 before this tire. I was disappointed when I was told by a local shop that the 403 would be discontinued and replaced by this tire. After running this tire I couldn't be more pleased. This tire holds in corners a little better then the 403. I got good miles out of a 403 but always had to replaced them due to the side knobs getting torn off by rocks. With the X30 I have not torn off even one side knobby. The center is wearing very well. It appears I will get more miles out of this tire then the 403 due to the side knobs holding up much better then the 403. This review is only based on the front tire. I do not run Bridgestone tires on the back of my bikes.

Good tire for dry conditions

Comments On Jul 13, 2015:I found this tire to work really well for dryer conditions! it keeps good traction through riding surfaces, I did however notice that it looses a lot more traction than I would have expected when heading into a damp day, this being said however I would still recommend this tire to anyone that runs around on the track or hits the trails.

Awesome all terrain tire

Comments On Jul 09, 2015:I have ridden this tire every where from the rocky oquirrah mtns to the dunes and it performs well in every kind of terrain. It is a little soft and will wear down faster than i expected

good rear ok front

Comments On Jun 09, 2015:rear tire has great traction in intermediate to hard pack, havent seen mud yet. isnt tearing any better or worse than other tires, a 450 shreds them all if it even looks at a rock. ill definitely be buying again. Front tire, not so much. wearing good but tends to push in sharp turns

Good but wears fast

Comments On May 25, 2015:I have 12 hours on my set so far. They hook up great, very predictable. However with only 12 hours on the rear the knobs are already rounded this is 75% intermediate with some hard and soft mixed in. I think the little hard terrain I ride is what is chewing up the tire.

Excellent tire

Comments On May 21, 2015:Works great on everything but very muddy conditions, but it isn't that bad there either. Very predictable and consistent. Seems to be wearing well.

X-30 great tire for desert racing

Comments On Jan 29, 2015:Bike: PC Platinum 2 pipe, soft powervalve spring, turbine core 2 silencer, rekluse full auto clutch kit. Tubliss system front and back.
I have run several tires in the last 3 years racing in desert and mountains... I really liked the Maxxis intermediate for the desert and worked great on my CRF 450x Baja Pre-runner.... but decided I needed to look at softer rubber to help keep traction while on power around corners my two stroke being a higher strung.... I liked the Bridgestone design so I gave it a go.
I have 4 second place finishes on this tire. It does struggle a bit more in the sand then I'd like but outside of that it is excellent on bluegroove hard pack and soft loamy dirt.... it grabs traction when climbing rock faces and really sticks when on the brakes.
I have 4 races and just now worn down the inner block completely on center cleats, half on side cleats. I could reverse it but I've passed the point that I wish to run a tire for racing... I get halfway through the tread... time for new tire... save the old one for off season riding...when traction won't mean difference between winning or wishing I had better traction.
I've tried starcross (love it for motocross), mx 71 (hated it), MX 51 (hated the front tire and back was ok), Maxxis intermediate (great tire), sedona (crap tire that chunked out)
