Tiny Tire

Comments On Feb 04, 2015:I ordered the 120/90/19 and the tire barely measures out, to be the size of a 110/90/19, in another brand. I called Kenda and they said there was nothing they could do for me. I would NEVER buy another tire from Kenda, because they are selling one size of tire, with the size printed on the sidewall, and making a much smaller size. Their website says the tire measures 5.3", but it is not even close.

Great Tires

Comments On Jan 09, 2015:These tires are consistently among the best. We ride mostly in intermediate density conditions and the Kendas deliver consistently in both performance and durability. Other brands cost more and just don't work as well. Kenda in our camp.

Nice tire for a big thumper for the Bucks

Comments On Jan 07, 2015:I ride in various conditions, sand, hard rock, rocky trails, woods, muddy bottoms. The big Kenda with 12 lbs air, takes me everywhere.

Not a Bad cheap tire!

Comments On Oct 28, 2014:I bought this tire for my wife's Sherpa and it seems to be holding up very well. She has over 800 miles on it and still looks new. For an aggressive knobby that is impressive. For the price bucks you cant beat it!

best tire you can buy for under $100

Comments On Oct 22, 2014:this tire is inexpensive but is super strong and lasts a very long time. went 2 years on the last rear tire with 200+ miles of trail riding on shail and river rock and 100+ miles of riding on the pavement. i wont buy another brand of tire for a trail bike.

Bread and Butter

Comments On Oct 18, 2014:I haven't ridden this tire on this bike as I only installed it to prepare the bike for sale. With that said contrary to what others have said these where not bad to mount (there dirtbike tires, make some allowance for cursing) and they popped onto the bead very easy. The front tire also has a bit of extra material just above the bead area to protect the rim. I have ridden these tires in the past and although traction isn't great they are extremely predictable and knowing where and when the tire is going to let go is almost of more value than total traction. For the price I can't really fault them and will probably use the rear tire as a standard go to for anything in the future. Quick side note, 110/90 is a little narrower than say an S12 of the same size, the resulting profile is a little round, probably better for hard back but may want to jump up in width one size to get a more aggressive edge if a lot of sand is in your future.

Excellent in Sand

Comments On Aug 13, 2014:About Rocky Mountain ATV: These guys are absolutely awesome. Have placed dozens of orders and have NEVER had a problem of any kind. My stuff typically reaches me before the predicted delivery date. I love that! KEEP IT UP GUYS!!
About the Kenda Trakmaster IIs: On my second set. I ride 90% dirt and 10% street. Front lasting twice as long as the rear. Both are excellent in the sand of New Mexico. If I'm not on sand, I'm on sandstone and these tires hook up well. I run the rear at 15psi and the front at 10 and this seems to be the ticket. Stiff and tough sidewalls have resisted pinch flats well. I think this is a better choice than the Dunlop D606, particularly in regard to the front tire if you are serious about desert off road.
On the road they are predictable in corners and a bit loud like any real knobby. My only complaint is that they wear noticably after a 100 mile trip on the street. Running them at the Honda spec pressure helps but I have avoided running on the street more than absolutely necessary as a result of this. Not sure there is a better option though. Will buy again.

Good tire for Hatfield McCoy trails

Comments On Jul 15, 2014:Been using this tire for many trips to the Hatfield McCoy trails as well as dualsport events in PA and NJ. Decent tire for most everything thrown at it. I wish they made it in a 140/80-18. A little squirmy on the road, but as with all knobbies, you have to pay attention and be aware your not on slicks.
