Did not know I had to cut off pieces to make it fi

Comments On Mar 21, 2016:Thought it would be a simple bolt on but with my 2001 CR250 I would have had to modify my air boot. Will buy the Rad Valve since that is truly a bolt on and does not require any modifications.

Comments On Sep 18, 2015:people go around saying Boyesen Rad Valve is all that & bla bla bla, that's just because they never Bolted one of these Babies on & don't have all the facts, 1) The reed petals only travel half the distance as a conventional reed valve design to get the same airflow. 2) Because the reed petals only need to travel half the distance of that on a conventional reed valve design, there is a greater chance of them being fully opened as well as a better chance of sealing when they are "closed". A reed petal never truly "closes" in a classic sense, as it is always in movement. Consider this, an engine operating at 8,000 RPM results in a reed petal opening and closing 133 times in one second. This fact, sheds light on another VForce advantage. Since the petals are only traveling half the distance, they generally last longer are they receive less wear than the reed petals on a conventional or a Boyesen reed valve design. I LOVE this Product it made my Already Fast 2015 Yamaha YZ 250 even faster & the Power Band even Broader.

    Good Reeds

Comments On Jun 29, 2014:I bought these for my boys 1990 CR 125 and wow what a difference it made in his bike so I bought them for my 2003. They did make it a little smoother through the power band and did give it a little more low end. I would not buy them unless your reeds need to be replaced anyway. I would however buy them over just new reeds because it does help out the power to be allot smoother.
