    This is a durable guard.
I installed the Devol disc guard as I ride in a rocky area. This guard has protected my rear disc very well. Great product!

    Satisfied
I had to drill out the holes a little bigger so it would line up to thread in the bolts that came with the guard. I am happy with it.

    Does the Job
I haven't done any serious off-roading since installing the disc guard. Nonetheless, it's held up well so far on basic off-road trips. It was easy to install, fits well and looks good.

    Good protection
Nice finish. Very durable. Good fitment and easy to install. Low cost considering how expensive a rotor is.

    Thinner than the picture
The picture looks like it's a solid piece of metal, but it has been updated. It is about 0.4mm thick and has vent holes. Not on the same level as the more expensive shark fins, but neither is the price. Overall pretty good product and easy install.

Had to modify it to fit
I had to do some cutting/grinding and bending to get this to fit the back of my KDX. Even then, it rotated when it took a hit. It did do the job of protecting my bike but I have to check it a lot.

excellent, looks better than the pic.
Firstly the pic must be of a much older version as the one for a 2007 yz250 is much better looking, it has some cooling slots machined into it. It includes a wheel spacer that is machined slightly narrower than your stock spacer, the disc guard mounts between your new wheel spacer and the brake caliper slider, very simple and yet effective.

Does this disc guard come with replacement Bolts/Screws?
    Joshua G on Jun 7, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I sold this bike so I cannot go look anymore, but I recall that it does not need any screws. It slips over the axle and when you tighten the axle bolt that holds it in place.
