Lacks a pouch, but great compact kit
Didn't come with a pouch but I intend on putting it in a vacuum-seal bag like I would use for meat to keep dust away from fittings. Maybe throw a valve cap in there, too. Haven't had to use the kit to inflate anything yet so can't rate performance. Priced right.

Fits nicely in my fender tool pack and actually works! Make sure to also have the tools to remove tire and patch tube or a plug kit if running tubliss

Beats walking
Simple and fairly easy to inflate a tire after a flat. Fits in my bag and takes up very little room or weight. I recommend everybody that rides a dual sport to have this in their tool kit

Awesome
Great little kit for your fender pack or backpack while out riding. Won't leave on a ride without it.

Works
Works great. Turn to open turn to close. It does flow very fast so putting in a half cartridge is near impossible.

Realy good air system
I love this thing...it is so small but yet its solid and easy to use. You can easily control the airflow and stop it quickly so as to not use the entire fill in one shot. Highly recommend this for trail packs.

Quick and Helpful
Have had to use this a couple times now it it works great. Light weight and small makes it unnoticeable in your pack. No reason not to pack one in the backcountry

BEST ANSWER: Simple answer is no, but it comes with a Tusk sticker!
The longer answer is do as follows:
Close the red knob (clockwise), then get the tube valve stem at the highest point (not down low) that is convenient. Screw the knurled brass portion of the knob assembly to the tube valve with the red knob pointing as close to straight up as you can (more than 45 degrees). then screw the cartridge into the bottom of the knob assembly fairly quickly (without rushing and cross threading) until seated. Then slowly open the red knob to fill.
The reason for the upright CO2 cylinder and slow release is to push CO2 gas, not liquid through the valve - invert the cylinder and you risk icing up the schrader valve in the tube stem and wasting gas.
