Used Yellow for my Dunlop AT 81 tires. I removed wheels, cleaned with simple green, laid them flat and took my time. The results are amazing. The pen is a bit pricey but for that factory racing look it's worth it. Will use again for every new set of tires.
it really good until you wash your tire its still on there but fading! but looks amazing when you first put on but you can just go over it the pen has plenty of ink
Price is a little high IMHO. Its just a simple paint pen. However it makes your tires look like a pro's and it is pretty durable. A little bit goes a long way so you have plenty for touch ups later down the road.
This pen works as advertised. Tires look really cool. Lasts about 10 motos before starting to fade. But these are pricey. I bought another brand from a local hardware store for a third of the price (in the welding section - welders use them to mark steel). Worked just as well.
These are very user friendly. take your time and the results are excellent! great wear characteristics, it lasted through an entire motocross day and still looks great!
I'll be honest and tell you I've never tried. I used the tire pen for a lot of different things aside from coloring in the manufacturer of the tire. In my opinion I think it looks great on the tire, but again, it has other uses as well.
yes it will come off using a wax and grease remover, I do not recommend using lacquer thinner or a harsh solvent, it could harm the tire rubber compound. Try using a good brush and dish soap first.
The product eventually fades with riding. I liked the way it looked so I did not try to remove it. If you put it on I think you will like the way it looks as well.
