Great Hydro pack for the money!
This is actually the third Fly hydro pack I've purchased. In my opinion, they are the best pack you can get, for the money. I have modified mine with a quick disconnect system for permanently mounting the mouthpiece on my helmet. That's the only thing I wish it came with. Otherwise, this pack is comfortable (even full), it has one of the largest capacities, and it's fairly durable. I've taken some hard falls with my first pack, and it took being run over in my last race for the buckles to finally fail. As long as they keep making this pack, I will always go back to it when it's time for a replacement.

Great, but it did not make it past the starting line
I thought this pack would be a great economical pack that would keep me hydrated through a hare scramble. I filled it up with water and put it on and went to the starting line. Before it was my classes turn to go, I could feel cold water running down my back. This bladder couldn't even last one race. I drank all the water that was in it so it would not be a waste. Looking at it after I got home i found it to be leaking around the fitting where you screw on the line to the mouthpiece. I would not recommend this to anyone nor would I buy another.

Great value and essential gear to have
Essential piece of gear to have when riding. Hold plenty of fluid and has 2 nice storage pouches to fit a bunch of things. I use it every time I ride!

Keeps me hydrated!
This works really good has some extra room to put some small things in. The only downside is the mouthpiece will fall off. I lost mine in the middle of my last race, it just pulled right out.

A internal water bladder strap broke on the first use and it needs a side bite valve other than that it fits over a chest protector easily and stays put.

Slim and durable
Very nice to use on the trail. Slim fit, stays cold (with ice in the bag), and durable materials. Only downside is it can be difficult to get water through quickly but with the right bite on it, it will flow.

Not the best
It's pretty cheaply made. My mouthpiece didn't have a hole in it when I bought it. They sent me a new one. I ended up getting a nicer pack as a gift, so I didn't use this too much. It wouldn't be a bad idea if you knew it was going to get destroyed in a long race or if you don't know if you will use it much.

Does it have a place to carry extra spark plugs?
Joshua W on Mar 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Plenty of room for spark plugs and wrenches and a few small tools. Maybe fit one spare tube at most. There are two pockets on this backpack. One, one right above the fly logo that is definitely big enough to carry some small dirt bike parts and maybe a wallet. And another pocket that zips open on the side that covers about half the area of the backpack.
Will this bag hold an iPhone 6s Plus or any other type of larger phone?
A shopper on May 23, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I use this backpack and last time on a whole day ride i carried an iphone 5, wallet, keys, knife, chain breaking tool, and i absolutely flattened a 6 inch sub and fit it in there too. But it worked. So yes you could easily carry any size phone lol
Do you have to cut the bit valve??
A shopper on May 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No it works fine with no modifications
Can it hold 2 stroke gas? my bike SUCKS gas and i need a backup scource
Grayson W on Apr 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: only a very small bottle if the bladder is full. I would say maybe a six/eight ounce bottle. Enough to get you out of the woods.
Can you put ice in with the water?
Kasey C on Jun 9, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes. You can unscrew the top and the hole is big enough to fit regular tray sized ice cubes.
Will it fit a 7 or 9 year old kid? And does it have a place to hold the bite valve on the front?
Amber F on Apr 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This hydro bag, in my opinion, would fit a younger child. It only has two shoulder pads and one strap that runs across the chest area. Others have chest and belly straps which wouldn't fit a child as well. As far as a place to hold the bite valve, there is a snap-in half ring that can be moved to either shoulder strap, and there are several other loops that the valve could be secured into also. I love this bag, the price is great, and it works well!!
How well does it fit with a roost guard? Looking for a hydro pack to strap on to one.
David Z on Nov 11, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Perfect. I run my chest under jersey then pack over jersey I don't notice anything.
Does it have straps on you chest?
David D on Oct 31, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it has a single chest strap.
