love these boots, i bought a different brand of boots and they fit me perfect but they were huge boots,, i bought these and they fit me perfect and are nice slim cool looking and dont make my feet look like clown feet lol like some other brand boot did.
Felt water seep in the first time it splashed up on these boots in a shallow creek crossing and it took three orders to get the fit right but eventually I did. I wear a 10 so that's what I ordered and while my feet fit in the 10's they were tight to the point of being painful before I even buckled 'em. So I ordered some 11's and one fit great while the other fit as tight as the 10's. I had to check the size on the tag to see if the one wasn't actually a 10 but it read 11. So against my better judgement I ordered another set of 11's and those fit fine. The first time I rode with them was a two day three hundred mile ride in the Appalachian mountains and I only found two issues, one: I had damp feet after the first shallow creek crossing and wet feet by the end of the day leaving me to have to dry them under the hood of my jeep as I had another 150 miles to ride the next day, and two: when it came to the AA sections of the ride where I had to get off the bike and help others wrestle their bikes through. The strap of the lowest buckle dug into my foot which hurt like heck but with the adrenaline going I didn't stop to loosen it. If this happens to you "STOP and loosen it". Days afterwards the tops of my feet were bruised and for almost two weeks they would actually go numb on top. Maybe I messed up some nerves or something, I don't know, but their back to normal now.
I got these wet riding and when the inside lining of the boot dried, it's like it shrunk and the outside did not. This caused the roof of the toe bed of the boot to warp or bulge. Made for a line that stuck down from the top of the boot on top of my toes making them too painful to wear.
I called RMATVMC and they took them back with no hesitation and I ordered a different pair of boots. Keep up the top notch customer service and you've got a customer for life.
Over all the boot appears to be made well. It fits as expected. The design and style are aggressive. The only down fall is the water proof blaster does not go to the top of the boot but that is minor.
I don't think your gunna find a better boot for this price, I normally wear an 11 1/2 in boots but they only have 11 or 12 so I went with the 11 and it was a little stiff at first and then broke in. This boot is tall and very thick so lots of protection and I like that it's stitched instead of bonded also liked the tread on the bottom. You can adjust all of the buckles for a tighter or looser feel, don't expect this boot to be water proof, it's fine in light rain but your feet will be drenched if you step in a puddle. I can't speak for the durability of them but other boots around this price aren't nearly as nice.
So as the title of this review states. I really want to like these. I love the tread design. They seem to be very well made. Design wise the only thing I wish they had was a 4th buckle rather than the two into one strap across the part of your foot that should have room to bend. It's a bit bulky compared to the 4 buckle boots I've tried. The other design issue I have is purely cosmetic. The Thor logo on the front is very large. I do not mean large as in over all size. I mean large as in the logo sticks out from the front of the boot about 1/4 to 3/8th of an inch. Just seems a bit tacky.
Here is my absolute biggest issue with these boots. They run small. I can wear a size 13 comfortably in other boots and normal shoes. I've never put on a size 13 anything and had it feel to small. That changed when I bought these. I'm on the fence about returning them because of the hassle. I'm kind of hoping that if I wear them around the house that the material will break in and not feel to tight around the toe and heal area of my foot. That might be wishful thinking though. I have them on right now as I write this and I can feel my feet throbbing. If you buy these order a size larger than your normal shoe size.
seem to be good boots only rode twice with them but they look well made and I like the sole of these over the others plus they fit great even with moto socks
I purchased this boot to use with cross country style ATV racing. The Boot surprisingly had a very comfortable feel right out of the box and required very little break in period. The lugged bottom comes in handy when stuck in mud and you have to dismount and lift yourself out of a rut. I deducted a star due to the slightly lower quality buckles. So far they have held up well, but I feel that metal buckles instead of plastic would have been the way to go. The size seems true to your normal shoe size. I would recommend these to someone looking for a budget boot to add protection to their weekend rides.
BEST ANSWER:I don't see why not. Sure, it's not a top named brand, but I think that it has enough protection for motocross. The only thing I can see why this boot wouldn't be a good motocross boot is the deep tread possibly getting caught up in the peg teeth. I would use them for XC style racing. I don't race motocross, just trail and XC.

I imagine you could but the soles are not smooth so coming out of turns your boot may try to plant in the dirt. Most mx boots have a smoother bottom for this reason.
