Details

ITP has built the BajaCross with some of the heaviest, 8-ply, radial construction available to make sure it stands up to all the hard riding you can throw at it. The overlapping tread pattern of the BajaCross supplies tons of grip and is made from an extended-life compound that ensures you’ll have that same awesome grip for plenty of time to come. For even more performance, ITP has stepped each and every lug on the BajaCross to improve predictable handling characteristics. The lugs wrap around the sidewall of the BajaCross for additional traction, but they also work with the extra-deep rim guard to protect the lip of your wheel when the terrain turns rocky. When you’re ready to get outstanding performance in whatever terrain you run into, rely on the BajaCross Tire from ITP.

    Specs:
  • Radial Construction
  • Heavy 8-ply rating
  • Baja proven to handle the toughest and heaviest UTV applications and perform impressively on 4x4 and utility ATVs
  • Extended-life rubber compound and innovative overlapping tread pattern provide a smooth, predictable ride and slow wear characteristics
  • Stepped lugs provide consistent tread edges as the tire wears, for predictable performance throughout the life of the tire
  • Wraparound lugs provide improved shoulder protection while a super deep rim guard feature offers the best wheel lip protection in the business
  • Despite its strength, the BajaCross's advanced carcass design delivers the most comfortable, trail-compliant ride available

Great all around tire. Ive got around 500 miles on these now and love them so far. I switched from 29x11x14 bighorns to these and dont regret it as of right now. They would have all 5 Stars if they were wider the measure out to be 9.25in wide mounted on 14x7 wheels.they do great in slick rock at Rush offroad and sand up north in Mich.
Will buy again.

These tires last forever.
Mounted 26x9x12 on a 2013 rzr s on delta steel wheels all the way around. I have about 3000 miles on them, pretty much all dirt roads, gravel roads and around fields both sand and hard pack. Still have plenty of tread. Traction is good in all kinds of dirt. Sidewalls are stiff so i run 5-8 psi to try to smooth out the ride. The backend breaks loose a little easier because the tires are more narrow then what came stock on the rzr, this isnt bad kind of makes it easier to drift around corners.

Great Tire Great Price!
I have ran the ITP Baja Cross tires on my 2010 Kawasaki Mule 4010 Trans 4x4 since I bought it brand new and lifted it. This is a great tire for west Texas rock/dirt landscapes. The nasty mesquite trees do more damage than anything else I have encountered with theses tires. but as long as you slime them and have plug kit you are golden.

great tire for a great price!

Way better than the Goodyears
I needed to replace the Goodyear MTR tires on my 2004 Arctic Cat V2 before heading to Colorado on an elk hunt. After a lot of research, I chose the BajaCross.

First thing I noticed was how much easier the ATV was to steer at low speed. It made maneuvering through the brush and trees on my property much easier. The Goodyears always required a lot of effort, even when new. The BajaCross also didn't exhibit the wobble above 40 mph like the stock tires did.

Once in Colorado on the trails, I realized the tires needed some air let out of them. Rocky trails were almost brutal with 12 or more psi in them. They are rated for 18 psi max but I settled on 9 psi for a compromise between steering ease and better ride. Less air seemed to cause the tires to squirm too much and more made them ride harshly.

When riding some of wilderness roads, the front seemed to slide on hard pack curves if taken too fast. As bad as the Goodyears were, they didn't do this. However, adding more throttle once in the curve seemed to help the fronts grip and the back slide just enough to keep things headed in the right direction. After years of riding one way, I had to change the way I rode with the new tires. Once I got the hang of it, they did quite well and I was able to push them harder and faster than the original Goodyears.

There were places where there was soft dirt, mud, and even logs to climb over. They handled each without a problem although they did seem to really sling the mud. Some see that as a good thing.

Overall, I only have about 300 miles on them so far but a good share of these miles were over rough terrain. About the only difference I can tell on them is the little feelers that are on the tread of all new tires have been worn off. Otherwise, they don't show any cuts or chunks out of the lugs even after all the sharp rocks they were ridden over. I think they will wear very well.

Great all around tires
I've used this tire since 2012 and have excellent luck with it. I have tried others but for an all around tire you can't get any better. Thanks ITP and Rocky Mt. for such quality.

Will the larger 12,s work on2013 rzr 570 with 2.5'' lift?
Richard P on Mar 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Needed to replace a front tire, when I got it I noticed it was a inch taller than the other front I had. 26 x 9 x 12 measured 26.5 inches mounted my stock one was 25.5 inches. Measured the other front stock one it was 25.5 inches measured the stock rears 26 x 11 x 12 measured 26.5 inches looks like a quality control issue to me. Getting ready to order another front hope it is 26.5 inches.
Do these tires run true to size or are they bigger than advertised dimensions?
A shopper on May 10, 2017
BEST ANSWER: They run true to size and I am on my second set and have convinced 6 other riders to also use these tires. They are the best for Rocky, Hard Surface and any other type of riding so far that I have used and I ride around 3,000 miles a year.

Are these tires good for pavement riding?
A shopper on Oct 9, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It is stamped on the tire (Not For Pavement Service) and this is because they are a 8 ply Low Profile Tire and tire pressure is normally between 5 & 8 pounds and you are ridding at a slower speed but I have ridden from one Trail Head to another and I find they handle just great. Always use caution on turns and pavement.
