Good tire Poor Sizing

Comments On Sep 05, 2015:Went from Bighorns 2.0 27" to 29" Original Bighorns, great tire but only measure 27" mounted???I bought a 29" tire for a reason, if I wanted a 27" tire I would have bought one...

Least expensive tire per mile!

Comments On Sep 16, 2015:I've had several sets of these tires and have gotten over 5000 miles on each set/tire. They may be a little more expensive up front, but they last VERY long. They are also the very best performing and riding tire I've ever purchased. I am on all kinds of terrain (hard packed, rocky, soft soil, muddy, wet, sandy, snow, etc) and they perform equally as well in all terrains. Beware... there are a number of Bighorn knockoffs for less money. But none will wear or perform like a Bighorn does and you'll end up replacing them in less than 1/2 the time. Some aren't even radials! With these tires, you can ride with confidence and not worry as people do with other tires.

Great tires

Comments On Jul 22, 2015:I had a set of these on my Rancher for 7 years and never had a problem with them in the 7 years I had them. When I upgraded to the sxs, I had no doubt in my mind what tire i was going to go with. Unless they start cutting corners with these tires, I will keep runing them.

Outstanding tires

Comments On Jun 26, 2015:Hard to describe how good these tires are. The ride is so smooth and the traction unbelievable. Our Ranchers feel like totally different machines. Wish I would have purchased these sooner.

Comments On Jun 15, 2015:Have run mud lites, dunlops and others. I bought a set of 26" for my Grizzly 700, Liked them so well, I bought a set of 25" for my sons 550, a set for Ranger 700 that I tow my 8000 lb pulling tractor with and now another set of 25" for my wife's 550. I would not purchase 26" for a Grizzly again, too much traction on hills, wants to take it over backwards rather than spin the tires. the 25" are 10 wides all the way around. On the stock front rims they are narrower than on the back.

Awesome tires

Comments On May 29, 2015:I have had 4 sets of Maxxis Big Horns to replace factory tires. I have gotten over 5000 miles on each set without a single flat(I had one slow leak from a thorn that I repaired). I ride desert, mountains, sand and some mud. They have worked well in all situations. I've used them in the dunes from Glamis to Oklahoma without a problem. My last set had 5,500 miles on them with good tread remaining. You can't beat them. Price per mile they are cheap. They ride and handle well. I have never felt like I didn't have the BEST tires.

I have complement Rocky Mountain on there delivery

Comments On May 14, 2015:I have to compliment Rocky Mountain on their delivery. Ordered one day and it was delivered the next. It came from Salt Lake Utah to Boise Idaho. I'm impressed with the delivery time. The side walls of the Big Horn leave a lot to be desired. Not that impressed with Big Horn tires.
